At the camp emerald was by she could her a familer blood beat of her daughters in one of the tents. The smell of blood reacked from that pitciular tent more then the others. the majority of the vamps on the camp were relaxed if not watching their leading from the shore.

 

"my lady this is a small force of them we have word most of the vamps are on that boat meeting princess sparkle....your orders?" the pony said crossbow trained on the guards outside one of the tents

 

Menwhile at sea the purple Alicorn had a rather stern look on her face seeing the small boat ahead, from the Intel gathered from manity she knew she could relax around this batpony even though she had known many in her past days this whole mess had to end....peacefully. At least that was the order she got from her mentor. How dose one peacefully tell a blood demon to stop destroying the world?

"Is that... one of the princesses ships's?! Take 90% of the men and see to her safety leave the rest here I'll kill all these new welps, leave the unicorns here. Move now!"

 

She moved towards the gate to cut a path to her kids, but thoughts of Twilight were in her mind aswell.

wheather she saw this or not she defintly herd the cannons go off between the two ships as she made her way towards the camp. Some of the vamps gave a hurrah seeing the action un aware of emeralds team doing its job...that was until one vamp herd a rustle from one of the new guys on emeralds team. Its curiosity got the better of it knocking over the box it was sneaking by....then all hell broke loose. The alarm even tho it was quite was spred through the camps bat through their shared telepathy.

 

The bats vamps began to attack emeralds squad with no quarter.....

Emerald sighed in frustration. However the ponies, vamps and gryhons in her way were no match. She must of despatched half a dozen oppents on the way to the tent with her kids in it.

 

The two forces clashed, the guards were much better fighters. However Mall's minions were eager conscripts. Most of Emerald's forces were nearing the two ships rapidly.

As the fighting went on shouts were made "get the child out of here, this whole mess gos downhill if she gets the child!" most of malls best fighters blew past emeralds squad focusing around one tent killing most who got near it.

 

For the force's nearing the ships mall ships was ablaze with flames but so was the man of war having a smoke stack of its own. Twilghts ship was borded by malls forces and the blood rage was in direct combat with the Alicorn herself. Twilght was holding her own with her magic and blade against the blood rage but she was barley block the blows mall was making on her.  

 

It didn't look good for the Alicorn, neither did it look good for jr who was trapped in malls boat doing his best to pry the bars open himself.

Emerald's gaze turned to the tent as she stalked like a cat towards it. "Plan to die? Because I'll kill you all for my foal." Bearing her blood cover fangs at the remaining guards.

 

Her remaining large amount of forces swept over the two ships Mall's forces were swept away. Then the fires were being fought, prisoners captured...

 

Apart from Mall who, killed or defeated anyone game enough to attack him...

The guards gave each other looks then much to her surpise held their ground "he didn't say anything about keep you alive!" on charged with a lance for her neck

 

Jr saw the emeralds squad bust on in he waved franticly as some of the fire was getting in his cage "over here!" he called out. Anotherr explosion went off getting a few of them. One of the silent gryphons of malls from before stood between the bats and jr. The gryphon took jr out of the cage knocking over the gurads who tried to stop it flying away from the carnige of the boats

 

"let me go let me go!" he struggeled seeing the ships ablaze and manity get farther away "moom! Daad! Jade!" he called out

 

the masked gryphon knock the colt out and flew onwards........

 

Mall saw the two figers in the distance and smiled as the battle was happing around him. He turned to the wonded Alicorn "now then, ms immortal let me show you what a real one dose"

Emerald side stepped him with ease. "My word Mall picks the dumbshits, I've killed a dozen of you bastards..." She took the poor charging vampire, grabbed him in a flash and dragged him to the group by the scruff of the neck.

 

She tossed him on his face in front of them. "Your all going to die, one of you try to impress me... or run away keep your lives..."

 

No one noticed the escapeing gryphon...

 

More guards tried to stop him...

The guards swarmed emerald she would find them hard to put down then the others she as use to as they moved faster then malls others. It was like a frenzy race of who could cut who down first between her and the tent she could hear jades blood beat all too familer for her.  

 

As the guards were cut down left and right by mall. Twilight wonded strugeled in malls chock grip "you.....wont...get...away.."

 

"get away, why do all you ponys think I want to get away no no no dear princess. the whole world shall be mine by coming after me"

 

And with that Mall bit into the bleeding Alicorn.....

Emerald spent at least five minutes cutting through them...

 

Her beaten body coming throgh the tent folds. "Jade?.."

 

Everyone stopped for what seemed a minute watching in horror...

 

Before one of the most burley gyphons rammed Mall off Twilight, a unicorn teleported herself and Twilight away to land before tending to her.

 

"Kill him!" A dozen magical bolts and crossbow bolts were fired at Mall.

As emerald saw Jade she found her daughter cover in blood eyes wide close to a thousand yard stare, close a blood demons look, and close to waking up from a night terror. Corpses were stacked in front of the youngster what looked like ripped to shreds and worse with the stench in the air emerald knew all to well.

 

She was tied up to the center pole of the tent it wouldn't take long for emerld to put 2 and 2 together as Jade looked at her mother with the look of being scared and wanting out....

 

As the barrage happened Mall moved through those firing on him taken a few out here and there and instead of flying of he jumped from the ship into the water.....

"Dear night mother, Jade..." She moves to her daughter, ripping the rope off. "I'm here honey, I'm here..." The pair embrace...

 

The unicorn with Twilight, summons help and a small group move quickly to take me to the hospital in the castle, where the others are.

 

"Don't let him escape!" More spells were bombed into the water after him...

as everyponys concentraction was foused on mall few reliazed what was happing to those of malls forces that died as spells arrows and such were directed at the water. Some of the bodys that had malls masks still on began to make a small ticking sound soon the ticking was getting louder to where everypony and gryphon alike began to pankic "its a bomb find it!" but as soon as the gryphon realized what was happing the ticking stoped........

 

The explosion or rather mutipule explosions was herd for mile around the sea and even in the villiges on the coast of manity. While emerald would have to be dead not to hear the exploding ships it was beyond not herd.

 

Babys woke up screaming, birds stoped singing, the wild life in manity and equestira seemed to have gone mute, and Even As celestia watched on in horror in her castel not a pindrop could be herd by the defining explosion.....

 

It was then Cresent who had passed out before was wide awake now seeing the stacks and stacks of rolls that had reports of what happened in the battle. Luna had a wide eyed look on one parchment rereading it over and over again, then threw the paper angerly away and stomped on the floor.

 

"aplogys fractured.....things have gotten worse" She looked at  a nearby pony "don't just stand there bring me that specialist now!"

 

the pony quivered took a bow and galloped off out of the med wing. The night mother looked at a nearby gryphon "when that one gets back let him have the day off. I'll retire"

 

She left the med room as well

She looked up from her daughter... "My men... the Princess?!" But her daughter nuzzled in more, this drew her attention back to her. Emerald was a mother first over any other commitments...

 

Twilight's party heard the blast. "Holy buck, the ships!"

 

"Our...friends..." They stopped for a few moments, the few soldiers in shock. One of the gryphons spoke. "We, we must go the princess needs help." The others nodded as they continued to the castle.

 

There were a few survivors of the blasts those lucky enough to be near unicorns despite to save themselves, threw up bubles to stop their deaths a few were successful...

As the ship sailed on it was damaged but thankfully not sinking save he bottom most two decks, it was more luck then anything else as the survivors were fished out enroot to manity if not for the coast guard and emeralds forces.

 

Cresent had a rare feeling seeing the ships coming into the harbor damaged and burning, "this whole mess..

 

"I shouldn't have gone to the blood trials this world wouldn't be in pain because of me" he thought out loud  

 

"shut up" darklight said behind him

 

Cresent glared at the pony "what"

 

"listen fractured, kicking yourself over the events wont solve anything. your our the expert on Mall you kick yourself at every wrong turn you wont win anything" she said  

 

"besides we don't know were our cresent is at so consider that while all this is going on the main reason the public hasn't gotten wind of too much is the doubles of everypony we have" she said turning around.

 

"get some sleep, tomorrow night will be long we'll end this Mall and find a way to get you back to your home" the batpony said trotting off.

 

Cresent looked back out to the docks sighed "this ends tomorrow" he followed her inside to his bed.

 

The next night.....

In the proceeding day the team got Twilight back to the castle. Her condition was questionable, the doctors were unable to tell if she was in transition or not from Mall's bite.

 

If there was a 'climate' around the capital before. Well the first thing Emerald did upon returning to the castle (after seeing Crescent and Theia) was to lock the city down, if not the nation. In the capital all, with a few exceptions all civilians were confined to their homes, anyone out was arrested or executed on the spot. Every soldier, guard, police officer and all the reserves were out in force.

 

Jade had not left Emerald's side, she didn't want her to either the pair together the entire time. The specialist arrived and saw to Crescent's injuries...

 

Emerald, Luna, Theia, Celestia and various officers were in the throne room. Argument was rife between those present...

As cresent got done with the specialist he saw the reports still on the floor from the previous day, he decided to read thru them after emerald had left. After reading he could see why luna reacted the way she did, he would have done the same if he wasn't passed out and so on. As he began to leave the room the specialist was still with him "you do know you could leave" the batpony said

 

"yes but with current afaurs I would recomand having me near by so we can" the mare beganbut cresent held up a hoof

 

"thanks but this will be my last day in this world if things go to plan. see your family or go sleep your not folling anypony with how much that took out of you"

 

The specailst a batmare sighed "shame you couldn't stay, your cute" she said a slight blush showing.

 

Cresent smiled "well thanks but id rather not have my emerald make any more marks then what she will do when I get back. if you want to help find Jade and help her and Jr out." he said opening the door.

 

The batpony found his way towards the throne room, the arguments were anything but peaceful sounding. As Cresent entered what ever the argument was stoped as all the ponys eyes locked on cresent.

 

"well then, what do we have so far?" he asked the room at large.

"Nothing Crescent, we've got nothing, in fact my scouts lost him during the battle for Twilight's ship... mainly due to most of them being killed in the explosions."

 

"Surely you must have other's Emerald?" Remarked Celestia.

 

"I do yes, there trying to find him but nothing so far, but my concern is for my son over finding Mall."

 

"We understand..." Started Luna.

 

"Like buck you do, neither of you are parents..." The room was about to turn into arguments again.

Cresent put a hoof on emerald shoulder then moving towards the rest of the table, "while our main priority is to stop mall we also need to find the prince that's not a debate emrald. We will find your son" he says looking over the map of the world.

 

It was all alien to the batpony as he looked at it. Manity looked the same but the topography was a  bit wonky to read.

 

"I read the reports of the ship battle, where ever he's at the prince is no doubt near by, and if the battle showed us anything its he is still on with that bloody true coven idea has their been at anypoint in this worlds history a cure was looked into for vamps?" he asked the room at large. Knowing this might go out the window with how angry this emerald was he was whishing coolwhip or sompony similar would answer this question.

"Yes, Twilight came up with the cure to vampirism, the spell is quite simple to a degree." Chimed in Celestia.

 

"Not very easy in battle conditions." Added Luna.

 

"You want to turn Mall normal? But isn't he a literal blood rage..." She paused. "Would that not...kill him?" Emerald just thought for a moment like the rest of the room.

 

"If we caught him in magic..." Started Celestia

 

"...turning him would be easy then." Finished Luna.

"It would kill him as in my world im a pure vampire. such a cure would kill me and him but in this world it seems the rules are in reverse. It could make him normal and me a vamp again then killing him wouldn't be an issue as it will help sending him back with me to my world" Cresent says looking between the ponys.

 

"If he knows where this cure was made tho he might be their trying to reverse it. that's the only way I could see him making a force so big so quickly" he said looking over where the flags on the map stood for a base.

Emerald looked at him. "Crescent it doesn't work like that, Twilight crafted the cure, a spell a simple one. She mastered it by hunting down my kind with the Elements and Sisters in Equestria and turning them normal even natural born vampires. It explains my hostility to these two." Gesturing to the sisters.

 

"Look almost every guard, cop, unicorn with common sense knows the spell. All we have to do is pacify him then bang! No more Mall, he'll either die or become mortal. Personally I hope for the second I'd love to drink him dry!" That made the sisters cringe a little.

Cresent raised an eyebrow at the licorns then back to emerald, then back to the sisters more in shock then confusion as a hundred question hit him. He shook his head trying to clear it then sighed "didn't realize things got that bad here"

 

He made a mental note not to have it be repated back home, but then came the biggest question....where was mall?

 

A pony who enterted the room with a mask similar to malls men but this one had an odd yellow tinge "i have a messge from the true leader of us"

 

The guards and others jumped surprised by the sudeness of the intruder yet cresent held up a wing stoping the guards and hopfully emerald from attacking the pony who had a tv straped to it.

 

Cresent looked at the pony "your on breaking ice messenger" he said

 

"don't worry lad your immortal don't forget that now is it on yet?"

 

"hold on sire" the pony said as it struggeled to turn the box on. finaly after some pounding a screen full of static apered soon to be seeing mall in a very rich looking chair

 

"ah cresent glad they patched you up and emerald I hope dear jade is doing well after her homework, oh how is twilight doing she tasted good"

 

Cresent rolled his eyes "get to the point mall what do you want?!" 

 

"oh come on you know the answer already cres besides im just getting us home soon. again this is just take one I do have good news Jr is safe and unharmed. more safe then even emerald could try at in fact"

 

the camra cut to a what looked like sleeping jr

 

"see, now then I do have a proposction"

"Out with it Mall no one cares for this rubbish." Their attentions were drawn to the TV and whatever shite Mall had planned.

 

"Should we even listen to him ma'am's?" Asked one of the officers.

 

"I suppose we should." Said another.

 

"Shut up you two, Mall spit it out already!"

So now then, of all the magic user's in this world you probably tought of two ideas. killing me here with a cure or dragging me of in some very high and tight prision...." The blood rage blinked then laughed, it was anything but nice on the ears.

 

"heres the deal. The alicorns have 3 days to find the portal that brought me and cresent here to see Jr again. If not this world will be mine yada yada and Jr will be my successor bla bla oh and if your wondering if twilight will turn let me know. So do we have an accord or should we just tear this world aprt fighting each other?"
