My first pony sculpture!

Recommended Posts

I decided to try sculpting a pony and I'm really happy with how she came out, so I decided to share here :) I have a lot of sculpture experience, but I don't really  use sculpey...ever...so this was definitely an experiment. I hope y'all enjoy her! My OC Emerald Aura:

Are the rear legs longer on purpose (weight distribution, oc figure, etc), or was that accidental? If they were a little shorter, it'd make it slightly better. Or longer front legs. Either way. Oh, and I say slightly because it already looks great! Keep up the good work!

That is really nice, you really didn't overexadurate when you mentioned having experience with sculpting.

...Or I suck enough as sculpting to find that amazing and hard to make.

...It is still quite amazing though.

Wow, this is great! I imagine if I tried sculpting a pony it would turn out similarly -- I have experience in sculpture, too, but never with ponies. I hope you keep doing these, she looks great! I love the soft curls in her mane and tail. ;u;

The legs were actually just an artistic choice. I know they're a little longer than the front, but I just thought it would look cute that way, so I went for it :) I wasn't trying to make the sculpt show accurate, just use my own style to create a cutie lol But thank you for the comment and kind words :D
