critique wanted Non-Sonic Female Anthro Hedgehog Help

So I'm at a drawing impasse. I'm trying to redraw one of my old OC characters but since I want to be taken somewhat seriously, it's hard to figure out a look.
 
She's a non sonic anthro hedgehog (originally she was a sonic one) and it's hard to get a face design that I'm happy with. Right now for this thread; I'm trying to establish a consensus on a look that gets thread participants in agreement. Mostly on whats a good anthro, non sonic, hedgehog face.
 
There were some artists that I came across that had a good design to it. I'll post the clean ones that I liked here.
 


The male hedgehog near the male skunk has an interesting concept to him.
 


The Able Sisters from Animal Crossing is a good design in my opinion.

Now... the look I'm going for is a grizzled, stronger than toned, beautiful in a "once you get to know me" kind of tomboy. Also her quills need to be dyed purple. If any of this doesn't make any sense, it's because I only had less than 5 hours of sleep last night.
 
Any sort of help in the way of suggestions or sketch examples would help me a lot.
 
My only things that I'll be stubborn on is...

• has to be a hedgehog
• no sonic hedgehog fan characters. I've seen too much of those as it is.

Other than that, I'm up for any suggestion or constructive criticism that anyone can provide me. Thanks in advance for those who want to help.

There aren't many anthro hedgehogs out there, so finding a good example is gonna be hard...

 

In my opinion, the most characteristic feature of a hedgehog is the pointy muzzle. Not the spikes, since they usually end up transformed into a spiky hairstyle (like Sonic's or the Abel sisters '), but the distinctive triangular face. (It's a feature that Sonic's design fails to deliver!) I know that you asked for hedgehogs only, but maybe you should take a look at other animals with a similar muzzle type? Like possums or genets? Just an idea... ^^'

Yeah!

You captured the distinctive shape of the muzzle pretty well! Of course she could still be a possum at this point, but I'm sure adding quills will make the design complete.

@@Merion, I've been redrawing the face I did for practice but now I'm not sure how the quills should be drawn. Do you think like the Able sisters drawing in the OP?
