Pony Sleep App

So if somepony were to create an app where you could talk to each of the mane six before you sleep would you download it?

 

I mean, I for one, have always dreamed about doing that. To the point where I would create a version of them in my head and have a conversation with them before sleep.

 

I just recently heard about what is called a "Bishi" app which is, for those of you who don't watch a lot of anime, "Pretty Boy" when translated into English. What the app does is it gives a selection of "Pretty" anime boys for you to choose who are attractive and have their own characteristics. You can choose to sleep talk to them or...I'm not sure what else but they just talk to you and say sweet things and is very fulfilling if you are lonely.

 

But nonetheless I would like to invite you, if you know how to create an app and want this app to be available to the Pony fandom come and join me in creating this app for ALL PONY LOVING HUMANS TO ENJOY!

 

Also, if you feel that you have a good grasp on any of the mane 6, or famous background ponies, let me know and we can compile a list of things for them to say.

i'd say it's workable(just exclude the copyright problem), which development platform you're gonna use?(it'll be nice if it's open source)

well you see I'm new to the whole making an app thing so I'm not sure what you mean.

I just know the information and I'm not engaged in the app yet... hope these helpful

 

currently, the mainstream mobile system is Android and IOS, the previous is programmed in Java and the latter is Xcode/Swift.

 

You can develop an app with the IDE(Integrated Development Environment) and SDK(Software Development Kit), you need to learn the program language the software used and how to use the IDE to create a real app.

 

for example, if you wanna create an android app, you can use the Android Studio, since most of people have their own smart phone, there're plenty resources and tutorials online

Compeador is right, and there certainly are a lot of tutorials and resources out there for any budding app maker, however it sounds like you are also interested in developing a conversational artificial intelligence for each of the mane six too (even if it is just context based). It's a really interesting idea, but have you thought of maybe starting with a simpler approach, like an interactive adventure with one of the mane six, just to get used to programming/UI design first?
