Awaken my players!

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The sun rises once again, hot as embers and as shiny as gold, it seems like it'll be a morning like any other, and in many ways it will be...But in a place as odd as ponyville, even the most ordinary day can have its share of unusual - some may even say, bizarre, - occurrences.

Lately, more and more ponies in this seemingly normal town have awakened a power beyond simple magic: the power to summon a being made from your own life energy, a being who exists solely to defend and empower its summoner, and because it stands by its summoner no matter what, this kind of being was named a [sTAND]!

Much like ponies themselves, and while some Stands are used for evil and others for good, there is no such thing as an evil or good stand: only evil or good stand users.

As the light - be it natural or artificial - illuminates your eyes and the fresh morning air fills your lungs, you wake up once more and as soon as that happens the universe itself seems to ask you a question:

What will you do?

Gridia slowly blinked her eyes awake, clacking her beak and sitting up before yawning and stretching out her limbs. She was rather fortunate that the straw roofs of Ponyville's houses were so comfy to sleep on. Definitely beat paying for a hotel.

The young griffon hopped off the roof, using her powerful wings to glide onto the ground, causing a few passing ponies to jump a bit from her sudden presence.

She took a glance around the square, wondering what to do first. She had come to Ponyville on the gut feeling that someone, somehow, could help her understand this power she had. Something told her she wasn't the only one who had it.

Though, some breakfast would definitely be a good start. Where could she possibly get a cheap meal? As in, four-claw discount cheap.

As Gridia thought about where to get her meal, she notices three things:

A newspaper salespony, maybe she'd find out about somewhere she could eat in the advertisements?

A young mare dressed up as a sandwich giving away flyers and saying out loud: "Come eat at Anadama's sandwich shop!", maybe the place is worth checking out...

An old couple setting up a table  and putting a glass bowl on top of it, as well as a tray of cookies, looks like they're for sale.

And of course there's always good ol' Sugarcube Corner, it gets pretty crowded at this time in the morning, but it's a nice place nonetheless.

So...Where will she go?

(Sorry that i took so long to reply, i was kinda busy today)

Gridia took a look around and considered her options. The cookies looked really tempting, but for breakfast? Maybe not the best choice. Perhaps later on.

Though, the sandwich shop was what really got her attention. With a grin on her beak, she walked toward the costumed mare, and entered the shop to browse its selection.

The stablishment itself is pretty simple:
There's plenty of tables and chairs and a counter, on top of the counter there's the cash register and a square glass compartiment with sandwiches inside, which are wrapped in a kind of paper that is sorta like the one newspapers are printed on, but not quite. Each sandwich has a label on its wrapper saying what flavor it is.

There's plenty of kinds of sandwiches, but the ones that grab the most attention are:

///////
Traditional: Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions(served raw or with toasted bread).........3 Bits.

Grilled Cheese: a grilled slice of Queijo Prato(a traditional south-equestrian cheese, popular in countries such as Marezil) with an optional slice of ham(served with toasted bread).........3 Bits

B&B: Cooked beans and basil.........3 Bits

White Lion: Dandelions with lettuce(served raw or with toasted bread).........5 Bits

Chip Cob: A prench* fry sandwich, a popular dish in the Griffon Kingdom**(served with toasted bread).........5 Bits(*prench=french, **Griffon Kingdom=United Kingdom)

Poet's Special: Red roses and violets(served raw or with toasted bread).........5 Bits

Refreshing Morning: Mint and spearmint(served raw or with toasted bread).........7 Bits

Maneiami* Spice: Chili peppers, bellpeppers, mustard, hot sauce, ground peppers and black peppers(served with toasted bread).........7 Bits(Warning: eating something this spicy might have negative consequences)(*Maneiami=Miami)

Grilled Hay: Grilled hay, lettuce, tomatoes and onions(served with toasted bread).........7 Bits.

/////////

If those aren't enough for your hunger, there's always The Omega Sub ChallengeTM, a challenge that involves eating a three feet long sandwich with grilled hay, cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions in less than 50 seconds. If you win you don't have to pay for the sandwich, you get a free t-shirt with the phrase "Sultan of subs" written on it and you get a picture of yourself framed and hanged on the wall behind the counter. Not to mention it might enhance your [spiritual Strenght] and help you grow as a pony(both figuratively and literally), or in this case, as a griffon.

By looking at the pictures on said wall, Gridia sees that so far there has been two winners: a puffy maned pink earth pony with three balloons for a cutie mark and a purple baby dragon with green eyes.

Gridia looked at the menu, trying to decide what to have. She clacked her beak in annoyance that ponies never had anything for at least the omnivorous crowd. It was always greens or dairy! Would a little variety kill them?

Though, the sign advertising an 'Omega Sub Challenge' caught her eye. A challenge to eat three foot long subs in fifty seconds? That sounded like her kind of challenge.

Plus, she was a sucker for free things and some fame. A t-shirt and her photo on a wall sounded pretty good.

She smirked up at the two photos, and rubbed her talons together. She could out-eat those two wimps, easy.

She strode proudly up to the counter. "I'll take on that Omega Sub Challenge!"

After a long wait, they finally bring in the beast: as promised, it's a three feet long sub with almost every ingredient they could find, it was crazy.

Gridia's primal instincts and common sense told her to quit, but she took on the challenge and started eating the sandwich...it was harder than she thought.

No long after the start, Gridia started to feel as if the sandwich was some kind of portal to the hay dimension(Ha! Persona 4 reference.), but se kept going...and going.........and going............and going.

And against all odds, she did it!

With 00:03 seconds left, Gridia miraculously finished it just on the knick of time!

Sure, she felt like her guts were about to jump out of her belly and eating that much so early in the morning couldn't possibly be good for her health, but the important thing is: she won.

As promised, she was given the t-shirt and they took a picture of her, framing it and nailing it to the wall no short after, but that wasn't the only thing she achieved:
Gridia felt something...unusual...something she never felt before, as if her vital energy itself had reached its peak...her very body was overflowed with power!

As Gridia saw her Stand, Jailbreak, manifest behind her, the stand whispered into her ear:

"You have surpassed your limitations, broken through your weaknesses, blasted through your fears...your very [sOUL] has become stronger, and with it...so did i, your [stand]."

////////////////////////////////

Your control over Jailbreak has improved!

Gridia can now summon Jailbreak at will, it will also immediately manifest whenever she is attacked by another stand(it's more likely than it sounds like).

Your stand has obtained a new ability!

[Get Back]

This ability allows Jailbreak to use her speed to appear behind its target in miliseconds, almost as if it teleported.

Jailbreak can not only use this ability for powerful stealth attacks, but to surprise the adversary and thus break their defense!

Now go forth and stand proud!

////////////////////////////////

Despite what Gridia just saw and heard, nopony in the room seemed to notice! except for that odd, tall, blue eyed and blond-maned stallion that was sitting on the seat by her lower left; somehow he was able to see at least part of what happened...And he doesn't seem to like it.

The stallion gets up and runs away as fast as he can, everypony else is too busy cheering for Gridia to notice.

"For Celestia's sake..."

The mysterious stallion whispers to himself.

"...I just want a quiet life..."

Despite how close Gridia felt to throwing up, she couldn't help but feel proud of herself for her accomplishment. She had made some form of history in this town, and everypony here was loving it.

And she was going to bask in it.

Though, something had caught her attention. That little breezie creature had showed up again, and told her she had surpassed her limitations and grown stronger. As awesome as that sounded, it had used that word again.

Stand.

That reminded Gridia of why she left Griffonstone in the first place. To find out what a 'Stand' actually was, and what it meant for her.

She watched as a blond stallion rushed out of the shop, looking rather disturbed. Maybe he knew something?

Though, her guts threatening to explode made her second-guess running after him. She'd have to track him down later. For now, she could bask in her high-fibre glory.

As she celebrated, Gridia noticed an earh pony approach her: a tall, muscular stallion with greyish blue coat and a short black mane with a tail to match it, he was wearing a long white trench coat and a white cap similar to one that the captain of a ship would wear. The strangest thing about him is that his cap didn't have a backside: instead, it seemed to merge with his mane. What an unusual guy...some may even say...bizarre.

"Hey."

Said the stallion in a deep monotone voice.

"Name's Stardust Strider, but you can call me Stardust, i saw what just happened and i'm sure you have questions about it; if you want awnsers, meet me at that empty lot, you know the one, where the Golden Oaks library used to be before...you know."

Said him again, barely showing any emotion at all, not even his expression or the look on his deep dark blue eyes were able to give Gridia a single hint of what he was feeling.

Gridia looked up at the new pony, and her interest was taken mostly by his... interesting mane. It seemed to look like a hat, somehow. What kind of gel did he use?

Though, what he told her was what got her attention. Did he see what she saw? Did he know what this power was that she had?

She had to meet him at the lot, first chance she got. But how could she get away from this crowd? And move without throwing up multiple subs?

As Gridia thinks about the stallion's words, he opens a saddlebag strapped to his body and puts his hoof inside it...

"Here."

He says, pulling out a small vial of what seems like a yellow powder.

"I bought from that zebra that lives at the Everfree forest on my way here, she said it'll cure common flu and any of its symptoms, including stomachache or indigestion...I figured out you would need some."

////////////

You've recieved [Pink Herbal Medicine]

A medicine made with dried up herbs that were ground into a fine powder, just mix it with water and drink it.

/////////

"Once you're feeling better, meet me at the empty lot, i'll be sure that you know i'm there..."

Stardust says as he heads to the empty lot, pushing aside any onlookers that were standing on his way.

Gridia blinked and took the vial from Stardust, cocking an eyebrow at his explanation of it. She did have a bit of a stomachache, so maybe this would help?

She took the glass of water that came complimentary with the sub challenge and took in a mouthful along with some of the powder. Like the stallion said, within just a few seconds, she was feeling much better. And much more mobile.

Managing to get out of the shop, she flew toward the empty lot, and sure enough, there he was, standing there waiting for her.

"Okay, so you know something about what I can do," she said, getting straight to the point as she marched up to him, "tell me everything."

The silly t-shirt she was still wearing wasn't helping her in looking intimidating, not to mention Stardust stood taller than her.

"So you did show up..."

Said Stardust Strider.

"Good, allow me to explain to you what's going on:"
He says as a blue light starts to emanate from his body.

"This power that you have is more than mere magic, it is the very manifestation of your life energy! it exists dormant within all living beings, but only a select few are capable of awakening and controlling this power, once you do so, it will appear as a being made from pure spiritual energy that is yours to command, and because it always stands besides you no matter what, this being is called a [sTAND]!"

As Stardust finishes talking a large bright blue earth pony emerges from his body: it is a stallion who's just as tall and muscular as Stardust himself - if not more so - its mane is long and black and its eyes are light blue. the stallion's cutie mark seems to be a dark blue star with the number 17 on it and the only piece of clothing he wears is a white loincloth.

"This is my Stand: [star Platinum]."
Says Stardust pointing at the hulkling of a stallion, referring to him as if he was a close friend that he has known for years.

"His strenght and precision are nearly absolute: he can punch through solid steel as if it was paper and grab a speeding arrow in midair, but that's not all: my Star Platinum has the power to stop time for about two seconds...here, have a demonstration"

As S.S. finishes speaking, Star Platinum reaches for his pocket, pulling a marshmallow out of it and screaming "ORA!" as he throws the sweet at a nearby trashcan with so much speed that it manages to punch a hole through said trashcan.

"Did you see that?"

said an onlooking pink, blue-eyed filly wearing an expensive-looking tiara.

"See what?"

Asked another filly - one with grey coat and glasses - that was right next to her, she was seemingly too distracted with a comic book she was reading to notice...

"THAT!"

Exclaimed the pink one pointing at the trashcan.

"Sweet celestia..."

The grey one muttered to herself.

As he turned around and looked at the two fillies, Stardust started to speak once again:

"Those without the power of the Stand are uncapable of detecting the presence of a Stand in any way shape or form, no matter what kind of magic or technology they use."

S.S. explains as he turns back to Gridia.

"With that out of the way, i should probably explain how to summon your Stand; it's fairly simple: all you need to do is to think about summoning it and, if you concentrate enough, your Stand will manifestate.

Once it is summoned, you will be able to control your Stand at will: just think about making your stand do something, and it will do it, you can even make it speak for you if so you will.

At first it might be difficult, but once you get used to it, summoning your Stand will become as easy and as natural as speaking or walking...Give it a try."

Gridia blinked as she watched the larger pony emerge right out of Stardust, and her eyes widened. It was just like how that little breezie thing appeared out of her.

He really did have the same power as her. This was what she was searching for!

She watched as Star Platinum and Stardust got to work, and her beak fell open as they tore a hole through the trash can.

"Sweet Celestia..."

She listened to the pony's instructions and nodded. "Just think about summoning it? That's not so hard..."

She closed her eyes and imagined summoning her little friend, and sure enough, after about half a minute of silence, a breezie emerged from her body, looking energised and ready to get to do something. Anything.

"Whoa, it worked!" She chirped, and fluttered her wings in excitement as she looked at the Stand. She turned back to Stardust and explained, "This is Jailbreak. I think she lets me move around at super speed."

Stardust seemed quite fascinated by Gridia's explanation of the Stand's ability.

"Super speed..."

He muttered

"That definately is a powerful ability. Tower Of Grey, Geb, Silver Chariot, all of those three had speed far beyond my Star Platinum's, and all of them were breathtakingly powerful in combat.

That's because force equals mass times speed, meaning that the faster you move the more damage you dish out once you hit something, the marshmallow i threw is the perfect example of that: normally throwing a marshmallow at somepony is only mildly annoying"

Stardust explains, exemplifying by pulling another marshmallow out of his pocket and throwing it at Gridia with little to no strenght. It really was mildly annoying.

"But if you throw it faster - such as the speed of a peregrine falcon at maximum airspeed(249 miles per hour), which is the speed at which my Star Platinum threw it - it will have a much, much stronger impact.

The same applies to your attacks: even if you're not all that big or strong, merely moving fast enough could make you able to deal unbelievable amounts of damage."
As Stardust Strider finishes speaking, he uses Star Platinum to quickly pull a big chunk of stone out of the ground.

"Now it's your turn..."

He said, making Star Platinum hold the stone in front of Gridia.

"Hit it as hard as you can, show me what you've got!"

Gridia listened intently to Stardust's explanation to what she could potentially do with her powers. She could tear something apart with her bare fists, and she wasn't even that strong. The very idea put a smirk on her face.

The speed of a peregrine falcon... she had to try this.

She eyed up the chunk of stone, then exchanged looks with Jailbreak before staring at it again. She clenched her fist and began to imagine herself zipping toward the concrete and punching it.

And before she knew it, her fist was driven onto the stone slab, and she looked up at Star Platinum in surprise.

How did I...?

"It's like i said:"

Stardust Strider starts to speak, retreating his Star Platinum and letting the slab of stone crumble to hundreds of tiny pieces.

"Once you make your Stand do something, it will do that something no matter what it takes!

Time, space, gravity - and yes, even logic itself - none of those things matter once Stands are thrown into the equation: their powers go beyond the laws of reality! in a fight between soldiers the victorious one is decided before the battle even starts, but a battle between Stands is unpredictable, everything is chaos! the shiniest example of this came to me when i encountered..."

Stardust says, gulping for a moment as if he just remembered some kind of horrible event.

"T-The World."

He goes on, stuttering for a second before recovering his composture.

"The World was the most fearsome Stand i've ever encountered: just like my Star Platinum, this Stand was unbelievably strong, durable and precise, it even had the same ability - the one to stop time - but it was in a completely different level; instead of two, The World could stop time for up to eleven seconds. Its strenght even managed to break trough my Star Platinum's defense...But the most terrifying thing about it was its user.

A stallion so vile, so despicable, so utterly and absolutely evil that even after his death he left a stain on this world that will never wash off, a scar on history itself that could never heal! it's as if just by being born that stallion doomed countless lives...

His name was DIO Brando, and the scar he left was this:"

As S.S. talks, he puts his right front hoof inside his trenchcoat and pulls out an old book - seemingly a journal of some kind - and opens it on a marked page, revealing a picture that was duct taped into the page. Upon looking closer, Gridia sees that the picture shows the image of...An arrow?

http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/jjba/images/4/41/Arrow.png/revision/latest?cb=20150523191621

"Any living being who has the potential to develop a Stand, will immediately gain a Stand once they are shot with this arrow!
Using this very arrow, DIO created countless Stand users, one more frightening than the other! After investigating your town, i came to the conclusion that this exact same arrow is right here in Ponyville, in the hooves, talons or claws of Celestia knows who.

Depending on who is in possession of this arrow, this town might end up being the plaything of some twisted mind with wicked intentions, and that's why i wanted to talk to you: i want you to help me track down this arrow before it destroys more lives than it already has. So...will you help me?"

Stardust asks, putting the book back inside his coat and extending his hoof as if he was awating a hoof/talonshake.

So what will Gridia do? put her life at risk to protect the innocent, which could be the first step to become a true heroine, or put her own survival in front of the lives of others, which could be the first step to become infamous?

Gridia leaned toward the book, getting a good gander at this 'arrow' Stardust mentioned.

This DIO guy sounded like bad news, according to him, and if he had that kind of power, could even Celestia herself stand up to him?

She stared at the stallion's hoof, contemplating whether to take him up on his offer. On one talon, she had finally learned what this power of hers was, and she could put it to some good use. But on the other talon, why should she risk her life on the word of a pony she just met? She didn't even know his name until about five minutes ago!

She could use this power to survive on her own. Cheat, steal, swindle. Become nothing like Equestria had ever seen before!

But, the idea of using this power to fight crime like a real superhero was also pretty tempting...

Though, as she looked back up to meet Stardust's intense stare, she made her decision.

"Well, you showed me how to use this... Stand, thingy, so I guess I owe ya one." She shrugged and wrapped her talons around his hoof. "Let's kick some butt then."

As Stardust shakes Gridia's talon, he gives her a warm - althought barely noticeable - smile.

"Very well."
Stardust says as he reaches for under his hat...mane...thingy, pulling out a picture of a dark blue stallion with a long purple mane and light blue eyes, one of them with a lightning-shaped scar below it.

"The first thing we must do is track down this pony: Sour Solo.

He's a notorious delinquent and criminal, accused of vandalism, theft and physical assault; for whatever reasons the guards can't catch him at all and any guards who try to are found heavily injuried with signs of electrocution around their whole bodies...Needless to say, we have reasons to believe that he's a Stand user.

During the last Grand Galloping Gala, he got inside the Canterlot castle seemingly with the intention of stealing from the royal treasury, but all our witnesses claim that when he came out he didn't seem to be carrying anything except for what one of the witnesses described as "A pointy piece of metal, almost like the tip of a spear or an arrow".

So yes, we have the suspicion that Sour Solo is in possession of the arrow, which is where you come in: you're gonna help me track this guy down, and once we do, we'll make him tell us wether or not he has the arrow, after all..."
Stardust says as he lifts his right front hoof next to his head, waving it slightly.

"I've got ways to make him talk.

Still, he IS a highly dangerous criminal, we should probably be careful.

The local guards claim that he recently stole an electric guitar from an instrument shop right here in ponyville named "The Fiddler On The Roof", so that's our next stop."

Gridia nodded and leaned forward, examining the photo. "Shifty lookin' guy, isn't he."

She took in the information, crossing it with what Stardust had told her earlier about arrows, and nodded. It all indeed linked up.

Though, she couldn't help but point something out. "Wait, so if this pony just zaps people, what do you need me for? You and your... Platinum, guy, thing, look pretty capable of wiping the floor with this chump on your own."

"Yare yare...

Look, there's one thing i've learned throughout my encounters with Stand users: you need to be prepared for anything. I don't know what's the extent of his Stand's power or how many allies he has, under such circumstances the best thing to do is to prepare yourself and gather as many allies as possible.

I've been in a similar situation, you know?

Back when i was 17, both me and my mother developed Stands, but certain stands are harmful to their users and that was the case with her: instead of protecting her, my mother's stand was feeding on her life energy, causing her to slowly wither away. She would've died, but me, my grandfather and his best friend went after the one who caused all this all...DIO.

It seemed like an easy journey: just take a plane to Coltro in Anugypt*, DIO's hiding place, and teach the guy a lesson; but as it tourned out he had gathered  various lackeys specificaly to stop us in our tracks, they were 21 Stand users, one for each card in the Tarot except for The Fool(the card number 0); later on he would add 9 more Stand users, this time one for each of the most important gods in Anugyptian mythology.

If i went in that journey alone, both me and my mother would be dead right now.

Before all that i was kind of a loner, but after friendship saves your life quite a few times, you sure start valuing it a whole lot more.

So i need you around because, to put it simply, two heads think better than one. If something unpredicted happens, at least i won't have to deal with it all by my self, which makes it a bit easier."

Stardust says as he folds the picture and puts it back under his hat/mane.

"Well, if that clarifies it, we should probably get going...One last thing, thought: if your Stand gets hurt, so does you, so don't get reckless."

He says, turning towards the nearest street and starting to trot towards his destination.

"So, are you coming or what?"

S.S. asks looking back at Gridia.

"All the old paintings on the tomb they do the sand dance dont'cha know

If they move to quick(wowheyoh)

They're falling down like a domino..."

Stardust Strider sings to himself as he slowly trots forward.

Gridia blinked as Stardust went on about how he went to Anugypt to fight that DIO guy, and while it was an interesting story and she was listening intently, she never asked for his life story.

"So, it'll just be better with two of us? Could've just said that in the first place, though, cool story." She grinned.

As the stallion started trotting off, she hopped up, spreading her wings and floating after him.

A huge stallion with hat-hair told me I have a superpowered breezie inside me that lets me go fast, he's fought evil superponies, and now I'm following him while he's singing.

This is it. This is my life now.

As the two reach The Fiddler On The Roof, Starlight immediately enters and starts to talk to the cashier.

"Alright, let's not beat around the bush here, ma'm: i know that somepony stole from this place recently, and i know who he is, my question is: what do you know about him?"

The cashier, an old mare with blue-ish light green coat, grey-ish blue eyes and a gray puffy mane and tale, adjusted her glasses and at first didn't seem to want to cooperate, but after talking to S.S. for a while they came to an agreement and she awnserd Starlight's question:

"Well, he was born here in ponyville, i know his parents as a matter of fact! he used to be such a good colt, but then he started talking to some no-good troublemaker named..."
The old lady starts mumbling to herself, trying to remember the colt's name.

"Straight Arrow! that's right, Straight Arrow! according to his parents, two weeks after he started hanging out  with him, Sour Solo showed up at home with that weird scar on his face and ever since then he became a rotten street punk just like that Straight Arrow kid! his parents told me that they tried to talk some sense into him, but he lost his temper with them and ran away from home, yelling that he didn't need them and that they were just getting in his way..."
Gridia notices by the lady's tone that she doesn't necessarily like to remember that event, she can almost see her eyes tearing up behind her glasses, not that Stardust is gonna stop the investigation because of that, in fact he doesn't even seem to be notcing, instead he's focusing on writing down everything she says.

"Ever since then he didn't stop showing up on the nespaper, everytime i check it there's always some article about him stealing something or hurting somepony...But he wasn't always like that, i swear.

His parents live nearby The Carousel Boutique, their house number is 167."

As she finishes speaking, Stardust thanks her and walks up to Gridia.

"Yare yare, what pile of trash, this guy."

Starlight says with a light zest of frustration to his usually monotone voice.

"Getting in fights, causing trouble around town, yelling at his own parents, who the hay does he think he is? i mean, parents and children disagree all the time and kids will always be kids, but it takes a real brat to do what ~he~ did.

I mean, yelling at his own parents like that? and the worst part is that he probably tought he was being sooo cool by doing that, what piece of-"

Stardust stops on his tracks, honestly, Gridia can't help but notice that there might be a little bit of projection going on in Stardust's rant.

"Nevermind, let's just go."
The stallion moves on, this time without singing, in fact...Without saying a single word.

Gridia sees on the corner of her eye a shifty looking mare with a beige coat and baby blue mane checking out a shelf full of old-timey records, Gridia can't se her eyes.

She then sees a figure swiftly come out of the mare and suddenly disappear, and can't help but feel that she's being watched now...What did that mare just do?...Could she be a Stand user?

Gridia watched as the old mare recounted the events of the other day, and not too fondly either. She could tell that she was telling the truth, that this Sour Solo pony used to be a good colt until this Straight Arrow guy showed up.

Though, she had to throw a look of incredulity at Stardust's rant. "Whoa, war flashbacks much? I'm guessing this Sour Note guy really was pretty chill, until he met this guy, Straight Arrow. Fallin' with the wrong crowd, y'know?"

She glanced over at the beige mare, and she could swear she saw a flash of light coming from her. And then she felt like eyes were set on her. She didn't like that, not one bit. She hated being stared at.

She tried to divert the unsettling thoughts by piecing together the information the mare had given them.

"If Sour Solo was nice until Straight Arrow showed up," she murmured to Stardust, "and then he suddenly had that scar... you think Straight Arrow is one of those bad Stand users you talked about?"

"It's definately possible."

Said Stardust after cooling down a little.

"Still, one problem at a time: right now let's focus on finding Sour, his parents probably know something about where he is..."

After Gridia heard him speak, she couldn't help but notice that something was...Off.

She didn't know what she would see if she turned her back - and while that's perfectly normal - Gridia for some reason felt a gut instinct telling her that this was a very bad thing for whatever reason.

For whatever reason, Gridia felt like any kind of uncertainty right now was something truly terrible.

Struggling against her paranoia, Gridia felt something like a cold breath coming from her back, almost as if something was trying to lure her into looking back...

After all, will her look back or not?
