Humans coming into equestria via the portal

Well in my little pony equestria girls we found out there is other world that the mirror can go to. So our world could be one of them so what would happen if a human from our world was to go to equestrian? would turn into a pony or something else like a zebra or Griffons and what would happen to anything we were wear/carrying like if I had a AK-47 would it become a spear there?

@@swordsman, I edited your title slightly to include the "portal" and moved it to Equestria Girls section, as it deals specifically with the portal in that film series.

 

I enjoy the idea of objects changing as well...that would be a cool concept to see.

IMO they'd temporarily change into a pony in that world and temporarily gain the racial magic of that race.

This is in line with how ponies that go into the human world LOSE magic unless they have an outside source of magic (Amulets, crystals or the element of magic). So the humans would have racial magic so long as they were in equestria, but would immediately lose it upon returning to the human world.

The only reason the mane six retain their magic was due to the Element of magic filling them with said magic as an outside source of magic, which they still retain, which is why they're an outlier of magic in the world. (Gaia everfree also seems to be covered in magical crystals which are probably the source of her magic in The human world, and the sirens had their necklaces, which they lost their magic upon losing the necklaces)

Of course it could also be that any humans that find their way into Equestria become changelings and Chrysalis puts them under mental control soon afterwards.

Would they only become ponies, or would some become griffons or changelings or something.

well different species in equestria are different and from different places right?

 

So maybe someone from Saudi Arabia would be a Horse from Saddle Arabia.

 

Anyone from way up North would be a Yak.

 

Native Americans would obviously be Buffalo.

 

Russians would maybe be Griffons? i think they had Russian accents idk

 

It would be interesting to see who would be Changelings.

 

Everyone else would just be Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns. I don't think anyone would come over as Alicorns that has to be earned in equestria, you can't come over that way.

I think they'll be the same species and race as their Equestrian counterparts . Supposing that there are some episodes where Pinks wasn't actually the pony Pinks but instead human Pinks switching places with pony Pinks as seen in Friendship Games bloopers. Pinks has been an earth pony, no matter if she was the pony or the human in her place
