Elias was lying down in the local park on the soft grass. A calm breeze was flowing through the park, as the summer sun heated up his body. His lazy green eyes where staring up at the sky, observing it for any birds or clouds. A few girls where watching Elias from a distance, wondering if they should approach the charming individual. However, even if they did gather the courage, he wouldn't dare to get them into the mess that was his life.

 

Ever since he along with the Overwatch HQ burned down, he has been presumed death. So, he has decided to keep it that way since it would avoid unnecessary trouble for him. He got up from his resting position, which emitted a reaction from some of the girl observing him. With a sigh, Elias turned around and headed for the exit of the park.

 

At approx 12 pm.

 

It was now sleeping time for most individuals on a normal day like this, but not for Elias. Tonight, he was going criminal hunting, something he hasn't done ever since the day the HQ got attacked. His rifle was swung over his back, his ominous hooded outfit secured tightly on his body. With a grin, his eyes turned red, making two red dots stand out in the otherwise dark alley.

 

He has been researching an old mafia group for quite some time now, and finally found a date where he could catch out the leader. He climbed up the walls and unto the roof. His body not emitting a single sound, whilst he did this. He planted himself on the roof top in a prone position, his rifle aiming at the head of a certain mafia boss. However, before he shot, he noticed a glimmer of lightning somewhere behind an alley. With a curious look in his eye, Elias waited with pulling the trigger.

Suzan barbara jersey, better known as sue, had locked herself up in her workplace the whole day. She had to finishe her nightvision goggles today! The whole day she had been fighting with tiny parts, trying out different things and almost blinded herself by trying her goggles with the lights on but finally they worked, now at least. She walked around in her dark garage but didn't step on a single tool, which was even by daylight nearly impossible. Proudly she took them off and switched on the light again.

 

She hadn't been able to produce much things that worked ever since the headquarters had burned down, ever since that day she had been nothing but a failure. She had tried to catch criminals herself sometimes but always ended up messing things up but not today! With those handy little things she would become so much better, she just knew it.

 

*later that night*

 

Quietly sue walked around, her hood pulled over her head and the long cape silently rusteling in the wind. From under her hood she stared into the darkness, which looked almost as bright as the day now. Alley after alley, she knew who she was searching but she wasn't sure where they were. Maybe they weren't here at all, she would never know if she didn't try to find them. The maffia groop that had been terrorising the town, she just knew they had to be somewhere around here.

 

Suddenly she spotted some guys from the corner of her eye, they were standing at the end of an alley in front of a door with guns in their hands. "Gotcha" she whispered and grinned. She pulled the hood even more over her head to make sure her white hair was completely covered and then she slowly moved towards the two men. Using the darkness as her cover she loaded some electricity up in her hands so she could take out both of them at the same time, but not too much since she was she would need it again soon. When she was close enough she stepped right into the alley and raised her hands, before the two men could do something two pair of lightning struck them and knocked them out.

 

At the same time sue almost got knocked out aswell, the flash had been so bright that she almost blinded herself, again. "Cheesits" she said and tried to opend her eyes again, it was black. For a moment she thought she had indeed blinded herself but then she took off her goggles and she could see the stars again. "Stupid goggles, you're useless" she said annoyed when she hung the broken goggles on her belt. Then she walked towards the door the guys had been guarding.

Meanwhile Elias was thinking of what this lightning could be. It wasn't an electrical fail, since there was no electricity in that specific area. Not lightning from the skies, which narrowed his field down to one thing, or rather one PERSON. It was Barbara. While he was super happy to have met an old comrade, he was still on duty. With an inhale, Elias quickly found the leader again, and pulled the trigger, emitting a huge *BANG* Through the entire city. With a quick reload, he picked off his second hand. "Now i leave the rest to you" Muttered Elias.

Meanwhile Elias was thinking of what this lightning could be. It wasn't an electrical fail, since there was no electricity in that specific area. Not lightning from the skies, which narrowed his field down to one thing, or rather one PERSON. It was Barbara. While he was super happy to have met an old comrade, he was still on duty. With an inhale, Elias quickly found the leader again, and pulled the trigger, emitting a huge *BANG* Through the entire city. With a quick reload, he picked off his second hand. "Now i leave the rest to you" Muttered Elias.

 

Just as sue had opened the door she heard a loud bang and she closed the door again, thinking it was aimed towards her. When nothing happened she opened the door again and peaked around it, there was a lot going on but not aimed towards her. She saw the leader with a perfect bullet hole through his head, right inbetween his eyes. "Dang it, someone else did the fun part" she said and she got a slight idea of who it might could have been, but she wasn't completely sure. "Oh well, let's have some fun here then" she grinned and ran in. She hadn't loaded up any lightning and only shot her short, standart lightning around. She ran inbetween the other guys in the room, hitting them one by one. This wasn't the most efficient way but it was the most fun.

With every bad guy now on the cold ground completely knocked out, Elias swung his sniper over his shoulder and slid down the wall . He landed without sound, and looked at Sue. His cold red eyes staring right at her, and without any light what so ever you could only see those two red wisps, that seemed to be floating. 

 

A part of him wanted to go over and talk to her, but the smart part of him observed her cautiously. Who knew, she might have become evil.

Sue looked at the knocked out guys on the ground but she tried to avoid looking too much at the leader who wasn't knocked out but dead. Killing people had never been something she enjoyed and she tried to avoid it if it wasn't nessecary. Knocking them out and leaving them with a nice burn mark often thought them enough of a lesson.

 

When she was looking around at the damage that had been done her eye fell on something else, above the ground. Two red dots. "I already thought this was your work" she said out loud looking straight at the red eyes. "You didn't come here to mock my outfit right?" she said as she grabbed a part of her cape and swung it out of the way.

Elias offered a chuckle "Well, i feel flattered that me killing people has become my trademark thing." He said. He took the rifle off his shoulder, and leaned on it instead since she didn't seem hostile. Plus, they where pretty much old comrades.

 

"Mock your outfit? Nah, with short shorts like those along with some nice well tones legs it would be a crime for me to say anything about that." Said Elias with another chuckle "But you seem alive and well, did the protest group not target you that badly?"

Sue rolled her eyes and chuckled "good to see you back" she simply said but in the dark her cheeks got slightly red, even thought she knew he didn't mean it.

 

"You know I got these right?" she said as she let sparks dance around one of her hands. But then she got serious again. "I don't know really" she said shaking her head "I guess I was just lucky. I had a hard time and eventually someone shot me so I fell down on a pretty safe place and kept myself dead. Not the most heroic thing to do but I made it out alive with only a scar on my arm." she stared into the darkness, normally she was never this serious but a subject like this shouldn't be joked about. "But anyway, you seem pretty alive aswell, how did you do that?" she said a bit more cheerfull again.

Me and the commander was in it at the time, the commander died, i survived. However, i have also been announced dead, and i plan to keep it like that for a little bit of time"

Sue nodded, it was sad to hear again that the comander had died but it was a relief to know that at least elias made it out alive. "So you are dead now, good, me too. We're like two ghosts talking to eachother" she said jokingly as she could see his red eyes comming closer, it looked an awefull lot like a ghost with the two floating red dots as the only evidence she had that he really was here. "It's just creepy how quiet you always can be. If my newest invention hadn't broken then I could have just seen you but now I'm talking to two red dots." she said shaking her head. She was still frustrated that her goggles had broken.

He turned around so he wasn't facing her, making it completely dark. He turned around so he wasn't facing her, making it completely dark. He sneaked over to her right side, before turning around revealing his eyes again "AAAAARRR" He shouted in his best zombie impression. Not listening to her talking about her invention.

 

Sue knew he was going to pull a trick on her when the two dots dissapeared but she still jumped up and let out a scream when he scared her. Her automatic reaction was to throw some lighting at the thing that scared her so she did, a small one but it could still hurt from this nearby. For one second the whole place lit up and then got dark again so she couldn't see if she really hit him. "Oops, sorry." she said "but you shouldn't scare me like that!"

Elias rubbed his sore  stomach where he had taken the blow of the electric shock, he let out a chuckle "Don't worry... I will live. I mean, i nearly got cooked alive a week ago, so this is no biggie" He said. He took out a flashlight and turned it on so that she could see him "I figured that you are probably tired of talking to two red dots, so here you go" He handed her the flashlight, and turned off his power. Making two gentle green eyes take its place

Elias rubbed his sore  stomach where he had taken the blow of the electric shock, he let out a chuckle "Don't worry... I will live. I mean, i nearly got cooked alive a week ago, so this is no biggie" He said. He took out a flashlight and turned it on so that she could see him "I figured that you are probably tired of talking to two red dots, so here you go" He handed her the flashlight, and turned off his power. Making two gentle green eyes take its place

 

"Wait, you did what?" sue said when elias said he got nearly cooked alive "what did you do?!" she shook her head, why was she still even surprised.

 

Then he switched the flashlight on, she gladly accepted it. "Thanks, much better" she said as she saw his eyes turn from red to green, even though the red didn't throw her off she prefered the green eyes. "You're lucky you can turn your eyes back to normal, my hair is white permanently" she said as she took of the hood of her cape and brushed through her short white hair. It had gotten white the day she got her powers and even thought she didn't mind it that much she sometimes whished she could look normal again with normal colored hair. Of course, she could dye it but that was too much efford, and she didn't hate it that much.

Kind of hard to pick up girls when your eyes look like a wraith stalking you from the shadows. He touched her hair "I dunno why you are complaining. I have been looking for a girl with white hair for AGES"

 

Sue shook her head, some things never change. "Your red eyes don't look that bad" she said with a smile. But when he touched her hair she took a step aside, she didn't like being touched like that. But she still smiled. "Then you have been looking in the wrong place. Any retirement home has a load of white haired girls, and most of them are single too." she said with a wink.

Elias pouted when she moved away. "But... But... I don't want to date an old lady! I mean, i have a long life ahead of me!" Said Elias. He looked at the clock, it was 2 pm. "Anyways, i am super hungry right now. So i really need to get some food. Wanna come?" Asked Elias, as he started putting away his rifle and knife.

Sue laughed dryly "ha! I thought that was your type of relationship, they don't last too long and you can quickly move on to the next one" she said with a wink. When elias mentioned food she feltn her stomach rumble "of course I come" she said, but then she let out a yawn and stretched, the adrenaline kick started to lose it's effect and she felt how tired she really was "not too long though, I haven't slept in days and feel like I can pass out any moment" she said with a slight smile.

Elias's face slightly darkened at the mention of him moving on fast after each girl "I have never actually been in a relationship" Said Elias, his goofy vibe completely gone for a second. "If you keep on picking up thrash, it won't get more valuable. Thrash is thrash" Said Elias, before he went back to his goofy side. "Well, the food is on me. My apartment is 200 meters away from here, so you should be good"

Elias's face slightly darkened at the mention of him moving on fast after each girl "I have never actually been in a relationship" Said Elias, his goofy vibe completely gone for a second. "If you keep on picking up thrash, it won't get more valuable. Thrash is thrash" Said Elias, before he went back to his goofy side. "Well, the food is on me. My apartment is 200 meters away from here, so you should be good"

Sue was surprised to hear that elias had never had a relationship, and even more by his serious tone. "Hey, don't be sad" she said and wrapped her arm around him "eventually you'll find a nice girl, a charming boy like you can't stay alone forever" she said to cheer him up, then she let him go again and took a step to the side. "Yay, free food is always good" she then said cheerfully again "let's go!" she said as she started to walk in a direction, then she stopped again and turned around "wait, which way?"

While he was actually looking for a girlfriend, there wheren't exactly anyone he could chose because of who he was. It was actually one of his reasons for fooling around with girls this much, since he couldn't make them experience the shit he has. "We are soon here. 2 minutes or so"

sue folowed him and silently observed him from behind. What was he suddenly so serious about? And what was he thinking about? She hoped she hadn't upset him or something. "Oh, okay" sue said when elias said not to think about it. And then she thought, not about 'it' but about food. "Something sweet maybe? I dunno, but I could use some sugar, I always can but especially now" she said and grinned. Sweets were her weakness, sweets and chrisps. She almost lived on those two things when she locked herself in her workplace.
