Will Starlight Glimmer be in the movie?

Hey guys! I think I'm wondering as much as the next pony if Starlight Glimmer will be in the movie.

 

Honestly, I believe that Starlight has a really good chance of being featured in the movie. Not only is she a brilliant pony with amazing development, I feel she'll make the movie even better.

They'll probably try to squeeze as many ponies in as can be reasonably fit into a ninety-minute narrative (so expect the more famous backgrounders, at the very least).

agreed! Your definitely right! I bet every charecter from Applejack to Zecora will be in it at some point, shortly like the season five finale.

I agree with the fact they are building her up and they are doing a horrible job at it. They haven't given her much in this season, so if there trying to promote her, they are doing a horrible job.

I can see Starlight appearing in the movie, but as a main focus, I don't think so. She could be the main focus for the season 6 finale though, to show what she learned.

On a side note, I hope Sunset makes a cameo as well.

It's possible, as long as she's officially a Mane character by then. Don;t be surprised if that's te case. Remember Rainbow Rocks? Sunny was nowhere to be seen, until a surprise appearance in a trailer close to it's airing

Considering she's Twily's pupil now, I suppose she will be in, yes. I don't think she'll be a primary character, like the Mane 6 will be, but most likely a secondary character, like Spike. I'd say I'd love to see Sunset Shimmer in the movie too, but I have a feeling that's not happening.

Personally I would love to see Starlight play a main role in the film. Granted I can understand why some would be unwilling to see that, but Starlight has been among my top characters this season and I would be happy to see her explored more. I think she's earned that.

Between Twilight and the rest of the mane 6, and possibly Spike, that would be 6-7 major characters to be focusing on in a movie, and adding Starlight to the mix would make things even more crowded than things already would be.

And that's not even including the new villain whoever he/she/it will be either.

She might have a minor role. Then again, there's always the risk of the main cast getting too big, and bloated casts tend to be a bad idea in movies, because there are too many characters to focus on.

On Kelly Sheridan's wikipedia channel it says she will be in the movie so aye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Kelly Sheridan is the one that voices Starlight so she will be in it.

I think she probably will, they seem to be working her in to make a mane 7 like they have a mane 7 in the equestria girls series

I think it'll depends largely on the story.  If the film is going to be a continuation of Twilight's story arc then there's a good chance that she'll be there as well.  On the other hand, if it's going to be a story that is fully independent of the series, then there's no need for her to appear in it at all, or at least not in any significant capacity.

I don't know really, but it was in production before she joined the mane 6 I think, but they could add her in if it works. I would love to see Glim in it, but it depends.
