Is Pony Tales more relatable for teens than EqG?

Pony Tales had non magical (earth) ponies acting more like human teenagers, having to tackle issues with school, boys, bulling, gossip, etc, without the magic drama, like EqG- human AU clones of ponies- seem to. Which do you guys think is more relatable to the target demo?

For what I know, I prefer EqG cause while FiM has it pony theme, I rather a human theme that related me. I'm growing more distant with that too. Maybe I'm too old to be consider a teen. Who knows

I dunno, MLP Tales is a slice of life for teens, it's quality notwithstanding. EG has human counterparts (and actual Equestrian transformed to humans) characters, but first, the yearly release, and since Rainbow Rocks the main plot is avoid magical shenanigans screw around . I dunno much, as I haven't seen Pony Tales
