Possible mane six in Dungeons and discords too?

So, looking at this clip, it looks like at some point RD and Pinkie return and stumble into Discord's D&D game with Spike and the others; Wondering if RD and Pinkie pie get sent home early and end up playing a co-starring role in the episode?

This episode looks like it is going to be pretty fun.

I have been looking forward to it for a while, and the same goes for the changeling episode, and it is nice to know that these two will probably be something that I am going to have a pretty good time with.

Hopefully Fluttershy can get involved as she desperately needs the screentime.

But if that doesn't happen, I would still be okay with the episode anyways.

I was kinda disappointed when I heard it wasn't gonna be a "Mane 6 become fantasy classes" episode, even though I was glad we were finally getting a "guys night out" episode. I'm kinda happy to see this, even if it ends up being for the ending

I am quite surprised to see Dash and Pinkie appear. I thought this was going to be the proverbial "guys only" episode for a change of pace. Also curious is their pick of ponies - I wouldn't have pegged Rainbow and Pinkie as RPGers. I guess it's possible that they got sucked into the game against their will, or Discord has created NPC versions of them (which has it own ethical ramifications like the Mirror Pool Pinkies).

 

The most likely ponies to accompany them would have been Twilight and Fluttershy. Twilight because she's adorkable, and Flutters for her relationship with Discord.

 

Still looks to be a cool episode - I can't wait!

And, from "do princesses dream of magical sheep" we know that dash LOVES getting into fights with monsters, since her favorite dream is her fighting a horde of changelings, so she'd be all over that.

Now imagine these being Mane 6 actual hero functions instead of friendship batteries/public service. I have nothing against this episode, but something about watching a fantasy within a fantasy makes me feel like a thirsty fool chasing a mirage in the middle of a scorching desert without a single giant worm or sand ship to hitch a ride on.

Good eye! Yeah, now that I look at it I see the left side appears to be Twilight’s castle. What is also interesting is she is in the winter garb that we saw in the Discovery Family promos that showed the Mane 6 ready to leave for somewhere snowy. I wonder why among all of them these two had to come back?

well, I think rarity would be the cleric, based on Legend of everfree: She has shield powers in that movie, and shielding the others is a good way to do the "healer" function without having the other five get brutalized first, and would be flashier.

Though they'd have to use a different name than "cleric" due to not wanting to use religious connotation probably, like how in Robots in disguise they called the fallen Megatronus instead of the fallen.

Hey, there's always hope: They got the guardians of harmony toyline which is being recieved very well, so hasbro has to know that fans like that sort of stuff, and based on them giving all of the others magical abilities in LOE too, I think they must have gotten the hint about people NOT liking the power batteries thing much. I would have preferred this be an episode without any the mane six but I'm not upset that they are in it. I mean just look at Dash as the Rouge she looks awesome!

(Plus, if they're giving them random magical powers in LOE, that implies they probably wouldn't be averse to doing it in FIM either)

I could handle fancy sparkly butt sign magic they’re going for in Horse Girls, but I’d much prefer if they built on their preexisting skills rather than giving them standard magical girl treatment. In a normal fantasy, this wouldn’t pose a problem since there are so many types of powerful magic one can choose from. Here, there are only friendship rainbow beams and plot magic.

 

For instance: rogues usually employ stealth, personal teleportation, deception, martial arts, and “tools of the trade” to get the job done which fulfills their fantasy but can hardly be included in the domains of friendship and harmony. I don’t think slice-o-lifers would approve if Dash suddenly started packing ice crossbows and lightning bombs. They’d be shitting bricks for weeks. But I do wonder how such interactive additions would fare on the shelves. Beats a turtle and some power sticker in my eyes.

 

P.S: I still stand behind my assessment that Rarity should be a magical shopkeeper. She’d give you bonus drop probability for gold and items while shouting “Protect me!” from some quiet corner of the battlefield
