One of my life goals is to visit Indianapolis Motor Speedway someday; that would be an emotional high for me. Aside form that I would LOVE to visit Sporting Park, Allianz Arena, the streets of Monaco, and Circuit de la Sarthe. :)

What I like about visiting these stadiums is them displaying the championship trophies won over the years. for those who have been to the various stadiums, just to be sure, which ones publicly display their Commissioners Trophies, Vince Lombardi Trophies, Larry O'Brien trophies, etc. and where on the stadium grounds can I find them?

For college stadium visits. I visited:

Camp Randall Stadium in Madison

Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison

Kohl Center in Madison

University Stadium in Albuquerque

Haas Pavilion in Berkeley

I've been to sports stadiums pretty much entirely on band occasions. lol

Lucas Oil Dome (I'm unsure of that name, but it's in Indianapolis)

The one that there before it.

The one in St. Louis

I don't even know their names. For shame. One would think I would be able to remember the Indianapolis stadium before the Lucas one. I never even performed in the Lucas Oil dome. It was after my time.

Before Lucas Oil, it was the RCA Dome.

The Dome at America's Center is the one in St. Louis.

RCA dome was in my memory, but I guess I thought it was the name of the St. Louis dome.

With that said, the name you gave for the one in St. Louis is completely unfamiliar to me. When I think about it, I do remember knowing its name and that wasn't it. Trusting the vagueness of my lost memories may seem silly, but I'm certain that wasn't what it was called. I remember it having the name of a company.

Maybe the dome you're referring to is also one that was created after my time like the Lucas Oils dome. Geez, has it been so long that now both towns have entirely different domes?

EDIT: Looked it up, and it is called the Edward Jones dome. I was right!

The only stadium that I've ever visited was the Saddledome that's located in Calgary, and on a side note I have been there at different intervals where the name of the sponsor changed hands. My family and I have also driven past McMahon Stadium that's also located in Calgary but never ventured in it.

One thing I should note about the United Center is that when my father and I were in Chicago about to drive there, I wanted to get my picture taken in front of the MJ statue. But unfortunately he changed his mind because he feared that it was located in a dangerous neighborhood.

Other Stadiums and Arenas I've driven by but never entered.

-Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin

-Frank Erwin Center in Austin

-California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley

-Arizona Stadium in Tuscon

-McKale Center in Tuscon

-Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento

I've been to the Angels stadium in Anaheim (I'm not sure what it's called officially), the Dodger's stadium, the Royals' in KC, Indianapolis (the big dome, for a Star Wars convention) and Green Bay.

I don't care for sports much, I just went along with my brother to these things (except for Indianapolis, that was for me). I don't know the teams or the stadiums very well to be honest. :rarity:
