If You Were In Charge Of A New Season of MLP

If I was in charge of a new season... Twilight would have more screen time. Or, there would be an underwater city. We already have an empire that returned after a thousand years.

 

An underwater city in MLP is practically guaranteed to happen already. That's all I'll say.

Pony apocalypse, eat your best friend or die! Not really, well... maybe.

Past complexes degenerate into dissociative personalities and psychopathic behaviours due to electrochemical malfunction, caused by the roots of the tree of harmony. Which formely drove the space coherence of equestria's conscious beings.

All those which stay in the shadow, or under limited amounts of light, go insane.

A religious perception about luna and celestia is born out of dispair. Which soon after drives one of the sisters to suicide, under chaotic strata of society. Becoming a martyr in people's eyes.

This causes a civil war between a divided equestria. Forcing the lower-class to fight against an state of dictatorship, driven by fascist forces of fanatical background. Under the burden of a self-sustained monopoly, the pony territories wall themselves off from the rest of the world.

Struggling against rebellious manpower(ponypower), the absolutist regime is left with no option but to launch their weakened armies against neighbouring territories, igniting a world war under an endless night.

When twilight suddenly wakes up from her nightmare, to solve the mystery of the missing cent at the sugarcube corner. An episode focused on the moral importance of the benefit of the doubt in today's society. And one annoyed costumer, which looks strangely familiar.

The issue is solved peacefully, but not before the costumer says "something's gotta give" and leaves with a saddening smile.

Strangely enough the penny lies on ground, blood-stained on the side depicting the sun. Twilight turns around shocked, to realize the red stained walls!

Turns out it was pinkie pie, making a mess out of a cherry pie, again!

But then it's all a time paradox. And the pie came first than pinkie.

It was all engineered backwards! Which certainly didn't matter at the time... as long as there was some pie.

 

At the end, it's just matter of which side it lands on. A little hope, something to tell yourself everything is gonna be alright, when Luna interrupts into the black room with fast step, twilight awaits with a saddening smile, missing one penny.

- Grogar will be the premiere villain and set out to enslave all of Equestria, and plans to destroy the Tree of Harmony.

- An episode where Rainbow Dash finds a magical energy that makes fly faster than normal, and she slowly becomes dependent on it, and her friends have to help her. (Basically, an anti-drug episode)

I would do one (if not all) of these season ideas:

 

1) A new villain would appear to equestria called Lord Shaddo. He would try to kidnap Celestia and manipulate Luna into joining him. The reason Shaddo came to be is because his daughter died in the war of shadows, and he blames Celestia for her death. In order to defeat him, each of the maine 6 would have to deal with a male counterpart of theirs (for example, Fluttershy would have a counterpart that hates animals). Together, they would have to stop Shaddo from using a vortex to banish Celestia.

 

This season would be about forgiveness and letting grudges go.

 

2)The maine 6 would travel to a town where only earth ponies are allowed, and all other ponies are charged for entry. This town would be ruled by a single earth pony, plotting to use mechanical wings and a mechanical horn to destroy all unicorns and pegasi. The reason he would be so mad at other pony races is because he learned that they made earth ponies pay bits for weather and the daylight cycle.

 

This season would be about racism and celebrating differences.

 

3)When a human enters equestria, he is immediately brought to trial. Apparently, there is an old prophecy that a human will destroy the crown. When Twilight meets this human, he turns out to be a nice person. Eventually, Twilight has to defend the human in court.

 

This season would also be about celebrating differences

4 Alicorn centered episode

 

Chrysalis returns, wreaks havoc on Equestria, banished but comes back at the end of the season and is sort of Redeemed

Parents of Starlight Glimmer, Celestia, Discord, Trixie, Sunburst

 

Nightmare Star / Solar Flare introduced

 

Other changeling hives introduced

I'd retcon Newbie Dash, replacing it with something that isn't a blatant "fuck you"

 

Then I'd give us, like 3 Celestia episodes
