Hm...I'd probably say my parting words with the members I have been talking to. Perhaps a final "Goodbye" statues update. I'm not a very well known member here on the forums, so there would be no need to make a post about it or update one of my old blogs. I might give a few members my Skype, but I don't like adding people to there if they aren't going to be very active.

 

Then I'd just keep a tab open with the website and refresh until I saw it go down with my very own eyes. Well, I'm assuming that's the only way every member would have only one day left on this website.

I'd try to answer all my PMs, and if there were too many to get to, I'd post an all-inclusive message on my profile and alert friends to it by status update. I'd then invite my friends to join me on my old pony forums and try to resume things over there. Then I'd post, post, post until it was completely out of my system.  :-o

I would disappear graciously! Like a very gracious thing! But really, I would probably first answer all my PMs and inform my friends where else to find me. Just in case if they still wanted to hear from me. Then I would just post around the forums like usual and at the end of the day write a status update or a blog entry. 

 

Now that I think about it, if that scenario was about to happen really, I'd miss this forum quite a lot. I've been a member of many forums over the years but this one is by far the most comfortable one I've been on.

And for my final act, I would write a post that is totally within bounds of the rules.

As austere as it sounds I wouldn't mind all that much. I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn't really be sad either; I'd be pretty complacent. I've spent plenty of time on this site, so much so that I feel like I'm just wasting my time on here now. I wouldn't have to give out contact details, since all my friends already have me added on some other media, so I really wouldn't care that much and would just idly sit by, watching the death of my time on MLPF happen. ;p

2. I'd seek out a member or two who rubs me the wrong way and give them a piece of my mind.

3. I'd go into some or several controversial topics (that I'd ordinarily avoid) and text wall; knowing full well that I won't be on the site long enough to get dragged into some pointless, never-ending quote war.

4. I'd say, "Auf Wiedersehen," to some friends and correspondents.

5. I'd either make some nicey-nice farewell blog or a really asshole-ish farewell blog; would depend entirely on my mood at the time.  Hell: Maybe I'd do both. x )
