When will you be reading the LoE book?

Yeah, I'm just gonna wait for the movie. Even if it does turn out to be a disappointment, the movie is just more appealing to me than the book, no matter when it comes out. I like my fair share of books and stuff, but I usually read stuff like comic books and manga's with the occasional thriller story. Plus, I've never read any book related content released by Hasbro so I don't know if it would be any good or not, as from what I've heard in the past people's opinions on the MLP comic books are pretty divided. And besides all that, there's the spoilers to think about and that I just think an animated feature film with music, voice acting and sounds, well, sounds more entertaining to look at than words on a page, with a book I'll probably finish in 10 minutes in total silence.

I guess I will not. Oficial MLP comics aren't demonstrating some notable level of quality, so I'm skeptical to such kind of related production.

well, the thing here is,  its not going to be a unique plotline like the Comics are, its going to be the Plot of the movie; so unlike the comics where the writers have to come up with stuff themselves, this is just them taking the movie's already written plot and turning it into a book.

Probably never. I am not really interested in any of these chapter books.

I'm not interested in the chapter books either, but this is the Movie itself's books: its going to be hard to avoid having the entire plot of the movie spoiled for a full month from when the book comes out to when the movie airs :P

. But that gives me more of a reason not to read it as I don't want the entire plot spoiled for me before I saw the movie.

yes, but avoiding all those spoilers over a full month will be difficult, no :P

Can't be anywhere near as difficult as trying to avoid major spoilers for Steven Universe where parts of full episodes were leaked out during the long wait between the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3.

Plus I highly doubt that the book would be anywhere near the full experience that the movie would provide.

While I'll have the book later today or tomorrow, I'm actually kind of thinking I want to wait for the movie first. This would be my first opportunity to read the book before the movie, but as the book is an adaptation of the movie's script I think I want to see the original source material first. That way the story isn't spoiled for me and when I do read the book I can judge it as an adaptation, which is what it is.

I just read the book. And I found out that in the last chapter, more magic is about to be delivered to the human world. This could mean the possibility of another Equestria Girls book, or perhaps even a cliffhanger to the series.
