Join us “IRL” on October 6th to 8th, 2017 to connect with your fellow fans in Las Vegas at PonyExpo.

That’s right - on the same weekend the My Little Pony: The Movie launches in theatres, PonyExpo LLC will be hosting the first annual PonyExpo in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. Only miles away from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino offers all the razzle dazzle of Las Vegas while still offering a secluded, dedicated convention floor. In between panels, check out the Fremont Street Experience just steps outside of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino or take a dip in The Tank, a pool complete with a water slide through the 200,000 gallon shark tank located inside of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino.

Join our mascot, Desert Rose, as she entertains you in the only home she’s ever known. The hustle and bustle of such a lively city may be new to many of our guests; but with Desert Rose by your side, you have nothing to fear. Be sure to get to know our mascots for some silly pony antics as well as some helpful tips and tricks to having an all out blast at PonyExpo.

While the convention is still a year out, it’s never too early to begin planning and getting pumped for an exciting adventure, as well as support a growing fan project. If you would like to purchase tickets for the convention ahead of time, please visit PonyExpo.com and register for your badge. As a special bonus, the cheapest our pre-registration tickets will ever be is during the month of September; simply use the promo-code DesertRose when registering for a badge and receive 10% off all badge levels; a savings of up to $500!

Expect more exciting convention news in the near future, such as guest announcements, discounted hotel room rates and some special surprises!

If you have any questions about PonyExpo, or how to get involved as a volunteer or attendee, please contact us at info@ponyexpo.com.

Looks very fun! I live in Nevada, but unfortunately too far away to attend.  I also am not the type of person to go to cons either, but I do wish to maybe DJ at one.

No way...an actual *Poniverse* convention? That's pretty awesome. I wonder how many of the mods will be there.

So excited to see this coming together!  I can't wait to help promote this in the coming year, and hopefully my job/living situation is stable enough by that point that I'll be able to attend.  Let's make this happen Poniverse and hit it out of the park!!!  :muffins:

Come on folks, if you want to have a blast with some bronies in Vegas, REGISTER REGISTER REGISTER!!!!!!!

An actual Poniverse convention and the ability to meet the forum staff? Well some of the staff anyway. Yes please!

I would need to see if my budget allows it next year cause it's pretty far from NYC, but the prices seem pretty reasonable just looking at it for now. At the very least if I do figure out a way to go I will get the Weekend Plus.

I usually get some kind of sponsor level for the nice perks (Proof I was there, ya know?), but I don't know if I can afford it. Anything can happen in 13 months though. The big hurdle for me is actually travel and accommodations which will decide if I go at all, not which ticket to buy.

Maybe,  but college work is probably going to be against me.

I'm also gonna be busy with classes, but I really want to go to at least one brony convention next year so I'm desperate. Maybe PonyExpo will be the one. :)

I guess I'll ask...

Most cons have a list of what will be there on their website. This one just lets you sign up for the con and pay for your ticket, but never tells you what incentive there is to go. What will be at this con? Who are the special guests? What justifies the ticket price? Etc. Where's a list of the vendors? I mean didn't you close any deals with anyone before announcing the con?

Why ask for money now when you haven't told anyone what the attractions are?

In fact I kinda live on the exact opposite side of the planet

I wish i could've had the opportunity to go there..

Or I guess any brony convention in general :sunny:

I hope you guys and girls who DO get to attend have lots of fun though ^-^

Sounds like a lot of fun, and I'd love to be there, but unfortunately it's probably too expensive to get tickets to Las Vegas and the con. Maybe it if runs another year I could possible go. :)

I just realized its a whole year from now and not in a month. I might be able to go, I don't know.

If there is gonna be DJ/Music slots I might try and arrange a trip.

Very exciting news indeed. I would have never expected such a thing to happen from our fair Poniverse. Good job guys!

I can kill two birds with one stone next year. Go to a MLP convention, and hit up the casinos. A great plan indeed I think. :P

As with any convention, this is only the initial launch and details will be announced throughout the next 13 months as we approach the convention. :D

As Simon mentioned, this is typical in an initial Convention Announcement. It doesn't even matter if a con is established or not.

With most fandom conventions, tickets go on sale before Guests are announced. :)

In all of honesty, our team never thought the city would become a convention spot once more, and this is one of three in the positive news pile. We are excited for this event to swing by around the designated time, and we hope for this to become the BoLV's somewhat "first travel meetup." Of course there was the negativity that we got due to 2013's convention. It felt as almost we were being held responsible, shortly after our social media accounts were established. Buuuuuuuut, what can we say? People seem to be more excited that this has been coming our way rather than it not. So all of us wish you the best of luck!

And remember:

"Red chip is Lucky Chip!" -Lucky Chip (BoLV's O.C.)

-United In The Neon-

I would like to go, but I'm from Spain, so it would be very difficult for me to go to Nevada D:

I wonder if there will be tickets sold at the door. The reason I ask is this.... You know on most sites where you buy things, that little lock in the upper left corner that tells you, this site is safe to buy from? Whenever I see sites that don't I get a little worried.

I had the same problem with ponycon NYC and that's why I am buying my tickets at the door.
