So Rainbow Dad is not really Rainbow Dad? I do recall one of the cards calling him Rainbow Dash's "mentor", avoiding any sort of relative label.

Looks like we're back to square one for Rainbow again. *sigh*

So... Where The Apple Lies... really is about AJ's parents' death?

For the love of God, DON'T DO THIS SHOW. I BEG OF YOU, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS.

It's a massive downer of an idea that just sounds terrible, to even imply that AJ accidentally killed her parents. A choice that would easily ruin the episode, and honestly, even ruin Applejack for

They really show us how Applejack's parents died... in more details? I thought the stars are all they can do, and now they will go that far? Interesting, really interesting, i'm ready for the feels, it could the upcoming episode or the ss7 episode, but I'm ready.

Nah, they wont do it, look at the TV-Y rating, how could it be possible? If they replace it with TV-PG rating, i will believe they can do that, THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN DO SOMETHING SO DRASTIC, at least for this show.

Evidently, the FCC missed the episodes with Chrysalis, Sombra, and Tirek.

Cyclop's skull, Granny's Skull (faked), Fallout Equestria, Rainbow Dash with scars and her ear being bitten off... Yup, they're ALL PASS. Good point, A.V. However, i still dont think they will do something like Megas mentioned, this is mlp, not Clannad.  :orly:

Evil imagery/bad guys getting schooled =/= a little girl accidentally getting her parents killed.

This isn't the show for that

o god, man I know some people want it to be the case but I think making AJ be the one responsible for her parents death would just be TOO MUCH of a downer.  Like no matter how good the episode ended up being It'd just make me miserable every time I would watch it probably.

AJ's parents confirmed dead?  Awesome.  The Rainbow thing?  Not so much.  Makes me very nervous.  Please, for the love of all that is good, PLEASE don't make that pony from the flashback turn out to be Rainbow's brother.  I swear I'll put my fist through my tv screen if they total rickall another sibling.  For the love of f*ck, NOT RAINBOW.

But the Apple thing is awesome.  I would so love an episode revealing that story.  Probably won't happen, but I can hope.

Whoa, slow down there sugar. No one said anything about Applejack killing her parents. At least from what we know. Her whole family gets hospitalized, but that doesn't mean anyone died, or that her parents were even around then.

Exactly/. If the FCC were even HALF as paranoid as they were for most of 4Kids's dubs, this wouldn't fly.

It could also mean that the accident AJ caused to their parents (assuming they were still alive back then), they were released exactly at the wrong time that lead to their deaths

Well if Where the Apple Lies ends up being about Applejack accidentally being responsible for the death of her parents, I would be really surprised that the show would have the guts to do so.

Plus it would certainly be one way to finally give her some form of character development or an arc that pretty much ended after either Friendship is Magic part 2 or if I am being generous Super Speedy Cider Squeezy.

But than again knowing the type of show FIM, I am pretty sure that it is not going to happen.

Hopefully sense it is a flashback episode we can actually see some form of development for Applejack seeing how most of it seems to have happened sometime between the events of The Cutie Mark Chronicles and the series premiere.

Going to the Rainbow Dash thing, I am disappointed that we still have no clue about any of her family at all.

I am still going to hope that guy was her Uncle or Cousin that raised her as a parent or something.

Oh, my Lord, please don't remind me of Clannad.  :okiedokieloki: I never would have wasted my time with that craptastic anime if I knew what would happen.

Doubtful. Applejack definitely isn't going to be responsible for her parents' deaths, but unfortunately, I could definitely see some dumb fuck new writer thinking that making her responsible would be a good idea.

That said, it's still the least of my worries where that episode is concerned.

I would to assume the best case scenario in these type of situations. Given that this is a children's show, I prefer to think that the writers wouldn't be so foolish as to jump the gun and make Applejack responsible for something as serious as her parents dying, if they died, that is.

Who knows? I may be wrong, but Applejacks parents may very well not appear in the episode at all, and it may just be a laughable foolish incident.  :icwudt:
