music Which songs give you nostalgia?

This, is actually a really common thing for me to discuss, simply because I like the music that takes me back to the old times, and some of them do their job absolutely amazingly. Anyway, here is my list:

+ A lot of Sonic soundtracks that I'm not going to list because there is simply too many.

These are the ones I love the most when it comes to nostalgia, cause these years were the best I've had in my entire life I think. The songs give a really good vibe of what kind of a person I was back then, chilly and relaxed all the time. :D

So tell me your list bois and gals, I'm curious.

Pretty much every Eiffel 65 song gives me a trip of nostalgia. X3 I listened to them all the time when I was younger.

Tons of video game music gives me nostalgia as wlel, like the Megaman X soundtrack, Dynasty Warriors 4 music, the music form Sim Theme Park, the theme from Rollercoaster Tycoon, the entire Super Mario World soundtrack and so many others. <3

I love Eiffel 65 aswell haha, I found out about their music back in like 2010~ I think? I saw a montage with "I'm blue" song used in it, and I loved it.

I used to play Need for Speed Underground 2 on PS2, I'm not usually a fan of driving games but I absolutely loved that game. This song will always remind me of it because it was on the soundtrack, plus it's from one of my favourite bands :D

Yes, exactly the same here. Hate racing games, despise them completely, though I did enjoy that ONE particular game, lol.

My Dad would play this album all the time when I was a kid, now it's become a staple of my childhood.

1. Almost any Disney song

2. Countless songs from video games I used to play, such as "Snake Eater" from MGS3

3. Many songs from TV shows I watched as a baby, such as Sesame Street

4. Songs from Alvin and the Chipmunks, such as this one:

Oh man, this song always does it for me. Not only is it something I remember hearing from my childhood, but its lyrics always hit me. With each stage of life, you sometimes have to leave some things behind and say your goodbyes, but you will always have those memories and friends you'll cherish throughout time.

There's a couple out there for me. The entire Beatles Rubber Soul album, for one, because I used to listen to it in my mom's car, but especially the track "In my Life", because of the 1994 movie "Lassie."

Then there's Gordon Lightfoot's "The Edmund Fitzgerald" and Bad Company's "Witchy Woman" both of which I used to listen to in my Dad's car and really stuck with me because of the beat.

Then, there are plenty of OST albums that are nostalgic for me, like Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Twister, Titanic, Terminator 2 (especially George Thoroughgood's "Bad to the Bone"), Jaws, the list goes on. Oh, and "House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals, because of the movie Casino.

Some of the music in Geometry Dash really take me back. Polargiest, Base After Base, Can't Let Go, Time Machine, Cycles, Theory of Everything, and Electrodynamix make me feel like a little dubstep Minecraft kid again. I also feel nostalgia from a lot of the songs that I put on my MP3 player back in Christmas 2015, such as Windfall, This is What I Do I Sit on You, All Hail Windows, and Stratum. It doesn't take very long for me to consider something nostalgic.

Hellbilly Deluxe was one of the first cds I ever had. My dad bought it for me when I was young.

My dad used to play Americana quite often when he’d take me to my grandmothers house before school. This song in particular he played a lot.

This is another one from when my dad used to take me to my grandmothers house as a kid. He played the live version a lot. Every day on the way to my grandmothers house hed tell me about different rock and metal bands.

Any of the old nu metal band songs. Papa Roach, Linkin Park, 3DG, Korn. Breaking Benjamin and All American Rejects as well though they aren't nu metal. I'd say early Eminem too up until Recovery. I grew up on all that stuff.

2000s music and 80s rock my mom would always play in the car when I was young. I hardly remember listening to any music of the times when I was less than 10 years old, but maybe I heard it in the background and listening to it triggers some memories.

Actually I lied; there was Enigma and Enya, which my dad would play a lot.

This was released on my birthyear :D !! Man my year had a lot of good music... *chest-thumps*

I always get nostalgic listening to this. Add some goosebumps.

(It's "Kids In America", but as shown in the Jimmy Neutron movie)

I had the biggest crush on the lead singer of All American Rejects in middle school lol
