like i've already said somewhere..

it's should be a "platformer" (Trine, Ori etc). with switchable characters (for example in the level we could play for mane 6, switching between them depending on what we should do and use their unique abilities and such), and in other level depends on the story it would be some of the mane 6 (not all, but 3 etc) or some side characters ....

well i hope you get my point here.

An Uncharted/Laura Croft style game but with Indiana Jones. It would work very well considering both Nathan Drake and Laura Croft are heavily influenced by Indiana Jones.

Or an MLP game in the style of the lego games. By that I mean that you progress through a story by going through levels solving puzzles and fighting bad guys. You would be able to unlock different characters to re-play levels as, different characters would have different abilities you need to solve those puzzles so there is a reason to switch characters, there would be collectibles so there would be a reason to re-play levels, and you could play local co-op.

I'm thinking of a video game where you start off in old pixel graphics and work your way up the history of video gaming.

For example, you would have the basic 2D games of the 80's for a level then move up to more in depth sprites like Mario. Eventually getting into 3D levels and finally current gen.

Because I'm such a fucking fanboy

A MLP:FiM game developed by Platinum, includes several playable characters, including ones from G1 and EQG

And for kicks, include Optimus Prime as a playable character too

That's actually genius. To make a game and make it include elements of the classics from the old times like mario and sonic, and make it up till today, from 2d to 3d and include some elements from the great newer games... Never thought of that, but that's really smart.

I've always been terrible at fighting games (except Darkstalkers - go Felicia), but I thought they could have done more.

My idea?

I say there should be a fighting game that comes out with a huge (50+) roster of heroes, then release another with a huge roster of villains...

... and if you own both games, they interconnect to present ALL the collective characters and stages for play, including a few new ones exclusively available ONLY to those who have both games.

This way, you merge two fighting worlds into one.

An entire series of Bayonetta-style platform brawlers featuring MLP characters. By giving each popular pony at least one spotlight game (including multiple Avengers-style team-ups), this series would do a bigger cast justice better than the show does. Also, this is a great opportunity to make game-exclusive universes, storylines and enemies that would suit the player ponies. This will work much better than just adapting even the villain episodes to video game form - speaking of Bayonetta, she would have only made said episodes 20 seconds long! Seriously, she punches Jubileus (God) in the soul all the way to the Sun before completely smashing up her lifeless corpse.

A real-time strategy game about the legends of King Arthur, where you can play as either the Kingdoms of Britain, the Welsh, the Saxons, The Norsemen, the Scottish, and the Seelie Court (Elves, Dwarves, Pixies, etc.) and Unseelie Court (Goblins, Trolls, Ogres, etc.).

An RTS with a pre-build phase like Metal Fatigue to build up a small working base before enemies start attacking, a system in which you initially focus on building and expanding your city and war only comes in later, but still with good combat mechanics (think Total Annihilation or Age of Empires) and an unlimited number of units. It should also have a diplomacy system like AoE had, but with an AI that can actually handle such a system and make the proper decisions based on their current economy and unit count.
