MY LITTLE PONY: THE BONDS OF FRIENDSHIP

 

This is a fanmade game based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV series.

Princess Twilight and her friends are preparing to Celebrate their one year anniversary picnic of becoming friends. However the very night before the picnic is to take place, a surge of magic flashes through Ponyville! Twilight Sparkle wakes up the next morning to not only find her wings missing but also the fact that no pony remembers who she is! The more Twilight investigates what has happened, the more she discovers that a more sinister magic is at work...
 
Can Twilight rekindle the friendships she lost and fix time itself?

Note: Despite the fact that the version currently reads as 1.0.8 does not by any means imply the game is anywhere near close to being done. at the moment, I'd estimate it being about 15% done at the moment.

I have a base for the pony sprites but for the human sprites, I do not unless your okay with shrinking down a flat base of the EQG character to make into a sprite.

Got a status update for you all! Thanks in largely to BlackLiquidSrw and Marlena(I don't have a forum user name yet for this one) In the last month I have gotten 4 sprites completed! This means in the upcoming version update, you'll get to see them in action! Thanks to these two working so quickly to produce these sprites, This should get things looking much better in no time for the game!

Whelp, I've gotten quite abit done so far but the version update isn't ready yet. I'm hoping to have the latest version finished by new years but no guarantees on this.

So I was trying to play this, and got up to the point where Pinkie invites you to check out the weapons/armor shop, but everytime I try to walk in there it freezes with an error reading "unable to load img/characters/%25corrottop.png" I've tried to fix it a few times by making copies of your Carrot Top file to match the file name it seems like it wants, but no dice.

Past that and into the Flutterdash FFVI scenario (I see what you did there) there's an odd error involving "no fixed move reference" if I try to go back to Ponyville after speaking with Zecora, which also freezes the game. Nor can I move when I hit the part of the Everfree that is "not available in this demo."

Judging by the dialogue when I meet the Taztlworm, it seems like there's a second exchange over the holes that's not triggering--I see the first one but there's no other one where Twilight starts suspecting Pinkie's trying to kill her before the boss fight.

And if you win the fight against the commander on the first resource mission (good grief he had a lot of health) you don't get auto returned to base for some reason despite it acting like you should.

That seems to be about where the demo ends, unless there's more and I just need to redo that mission over and over till I get enough points or something.

I didn't know this exist! The last MLP Fanmade game I've played was My Little Investigations back in April 2014. I apologize for not knowing about this sooner!

Odd, I thought I downloaded the game file correctly from the official Webpage. But when I clicked on the completed download, it asks which app do I want to open it with. ? Also, I should point out that when I clicked the Download Button, it apparently downloaded it as "Windows.rar".

This doesn't sound right. What should I do?

Its labeled as windows.rar becuase that is the OS it is deployed for. It helps me keep my distributions organized on my end. If this causes people to be weary of downloading it, i will change the rar name in future distributions.

Yeah, but how am I supposed to actually open it and at the very least see the opening cineamatic?

Honestly, I don't understand why more people don't use winrar, its free and far better for compression methods and stability of files.
