private escape from the animatronics rp (finished)

Grace woke up on a chair in a dimly light room, She looked around the room, then a voice came on, 
 
"Well, hello there. Welcome to your new job watching over this warehouse. You will be paid after you are done. I should warn you that ponies before you claim to see biped animal chasing them throughout the building, then they seem to run off before their shift is over. Anyways, the warehouse has a few robots laying around, but they're shut off so they can't be moving on their own. Ponies are working on them to make them newer, so I'm afraid that you can't hit them or sabotage them in any way. I see you after your shift."

 

The speaker clicked off. Grace was about to get up, then it clicked back on the voice said,

 

"Oh, I forgot to mention, some of them are having problems. The spider one is leaking fluid, four of them have skin falling off, and one or two are missing an eye. Talk to you later."

 

Grace looked around, then a clock's chimes echoed throughout the warehouse

Maia sighed as she sat at her desk, looking over a few of the camera feeds. "Well, this shouldn't be to hard. I just have to make it through the night and not die." She thought to herself. Of course, she was a bit nervous, but she wouldn't show it that much. "I wonder if there are others here. I probably would've gotten a walkie-talkie if there were, but this person could be a sadist for all I know."

Flash sat in his chair and listened to what the pony over the speakers was saying, "Hmm, I should be able to handle this. As long as there aren't any possessed animatronics running around. Welp, I'd better get to work."

 

He began flipping through the different camera feeds, "Seems pretty quiet, hope it stays that way."

As the message played, Kyubi looked around her office and tried to picture it in her mind. The way sound bounced off the walls told her everything she needed to know. "There seem to be others here." She thought to herself. The bat pony didn't really think about the message that much, though. The pony probably just wanted to scare them. Her thoughts then turns to the animatronics and wgat could happen if the message was true.

The spider noticed that the camera above it was on. It lifted itself into view, smiled then cut the cable connecting the camera and head towards the room where the camera was connected to.

the mole looking animatronic dragged it's bare hind leg past the room where Maia was.

Grace was cautiously looking left and right for any danger, that she didn't notice a leaking pipe was above her. She yelped as she felt something cold landed on her back

Kyubi could hear a few of the animatronics begin to move, along with Grace. The bat pony did isn't really turn on the computer. There was no point in doing so when she could tell where the animatronics were just by hearing. "I could hide in the vents. They wouldn't be able to get me then." She thought to herself.

Maia felt a chill go down her spine as the mole walked by, and she quickly ducked under her desk so as not to be seen. "Looks like those things are live." She thought to herself. The griffon knew that her only escape routes were a air duct and two doors, but she didn't know if there were animatronics in the vents and she didn't want to make that much noise.

The spider stopped above Flash and watched with web-like liquid dripping in front of him

Grace was walking around, then the mole turned the corner. She held her breath and waited. It had no eyes, so if she was quiet, it wouldn't notice her. When it passed, She headed the way it came and ran into the room. Her tail moving across the ground, making a swishing noise.

Flash watched as the liquid dripped down in front of him, forming a small puddle on the floor. He looked up and saw the ghastly thing, eight soulless eyes staring back at him.

 

"Oh buck, uh... Nice spider?" He said while slowly backing away. Then after a few steps ran down another hallway on his right, not daring to look back.

Maia tensed as she heard Grace, but didn't dare move or make a sound. For all she knew, there was another animatronic in the room. "This isn't how I'm going to die." She thought to herself, trying to find a way to escape in a way that wouldn't alert anything to her presence.

Kyubi ducked into an open vent as soon as the animatronic approached the room. If anything, it would give her s better avenue of escape than just hiding under a desk. The bat pony then began to slowly move into the vent, trying to distance herself from the animatronic until it left.

Maia heard Grace rummaging through the box and figured that it was safe to come out of her hiding spot. "For s second, I thought I was the only one hired to work here." She said, giving s comforting smile. "My name's Maia, by the way. Anything interesting in there?" The griffon was a bit curious about what the heck was going on at this warehouse, but figured some questions could wait.

I could hear the spider-thing chasing me, I ran around a few corners, using my wings to help turn sharper. And after a while I had managed to loose it.

 

"*pant pant* I think I *pant* lost it."

 

I looked around, and realized that I was lost. And to top it off I had dropped my flashlight during the chase.

 

"Well this is just peachy, let's see if I can find my way back."

 

And with that, he set off in search of his office, navigating the maze of a warehouse cautiously.

Kyubi heard the animatronic leave, but didn't dare exit the vent. Instead, she just stayed where she was, hoping to find some relative safety until the morning. "Those things are to big to fit in the vents, so I should be safe." She thought to herself. The bat pony then leaned against the metal wall and tried to relax for a bit, her eyes slowly closing..

Grace jumped when she heard Maia talk. She opened her mouth, then closed it and shook her head no, then stepped out of the ways to show that it was just robot parts.

The endoskeleton walked around and picked up the flashlight that flash had dropped, and started to walk with heavy footfalls on the other side of a few boxes from flash

an animatronic, smaller than the other, with big blue eyes nudged Kyubi closer to the exit of the vent

Kyubi was caught off guard by the animatronic next to her and quickly exited the vent. As she made her way to the exit that led into the hallway, she turned to look at the animatronic, curious to see what it would do. She didn't really know what it looked like or how fast it might move, so she would have to be careful.

"Sweet Celestia Where is my office!" He silently cursed, not wanting to attract any unwanted attention. After a moment he heard heavy footfalls coming from the right and saw the beam of his flashlight.

 

"Dang it, they took my flashlight. I guess now they'll see me better, I'd better get moving." And that he did, backtracking a few feet and hanging a left.

"Name's Grace, pleasure to meet you."

Maia gave a slight smile and nodded. "Same to you." She said. "I don't know why the guy who hired us didn't give us any means of communication, but I guess its to late to think about that now." The griffon then shut off the computer and looked around the office, before realizing something. Why would there be a crate of robot parts in the room?

Kyubi wasn't expecting the animatronic to simply sit outside of the vent, but figured that she couldn't really stay in the room any more for fear of being caught by another robot. The bat pony then went into the hall and looked around, using any cover she could find to stick to the shadows.

I couldn't really see a way out of this one. I had an endoskeleton coming up behind me and an animatronic at my front, there was no escape. Unless... I looked up and noticed I had a fair amount of room between the top of the animatronic and the roof. Well, it was better than nothing. I took the chance and leapt up into the air, pushing hard with my wings to gain the necessary altitude, praying its reflexes weren't fast enough to catch me.

Grace nodded and said, "I agree, thought I would be cowering in a corner, I don't think my voice would work on animatronics. Do you know if there's a towel, rag, or something I dry off?"

The endoskeleton, walked in front of Kyubi and stop as it swung the flashlight around
