Could product placement ruin the movie?

Hey @, since your thread's discussing product placement in the movie, it's being moved to the 2017 film section.

 

I don't see the movie having any product placement like that. Maybe a reference or two about one of Hasbro's other franchises, but things like the Mane 6 eating at Pizza Hut? Nah, that'd be too much.

It doesn't seem likely they would go that route. They might hint at them with ponified names, but I highly doubt they'd go and place Coke or Pepsi ads in the movie.
