He was strutting outside with his usual confidence. He would never admit it, but he was tired of seeing pegasi walking, or flying around freely. 'You listen here,' His father would say 'If it can fly, and it ain't a bird, it ain't natural! Them Pegasi need ta be put on a leash! Now don't you let me see you with any of 'em!' Every day it was the same speech. Well, after a few cups of cider he intended to do something that would make his father proud. He was the Captain of the guard after all. Still flustered he tried to regain his composure before she noticed. " Princes aren't allowed to blush!" he thought to himself, his blush became smaller but still visible.
