Is it just me or does posting lag for others?

I've noticed since the site went down yesterday that there's been a fair bit of lag, when it comes to posting in threads or pms sometimes. sometimes I have to refresh the page for it to post

yea i have noticed that it says "saving post..." down the bottom corner but sometimes doesn't place the post in the thread :/

I've noticed the issue, but when sending private messages. Website often freezes. But when I go back to main page it turns out message was actually sent. A bit inconvinient, but... at least it works, I guess lol.

 

Still, a fix on that issue would be nice.

I just got the answer to this from the sysadmins, and... yeah, they've fixed it. Again. If you want the long story PM me. It's due to a rather daft design decision made by company that made the forum software we are using (IP.B ). They're not going to be able to fix it *permanently* until we get off of IP.B and onto something better.

I'm guessing that it has something to do with the server migration stuff that happened last night, but it's been lagging with posting and loading conversations again. I just thought I'd bring it up to your attention

Thank you all for reaching out and letting us know about the lag.

 

As much as we try to keep this amazing ship called Poniverse sailing true and fine, we can't always be everywhere, especially in dev-intense activity like migrations.
This actually notified us to an issue that I thought we had fixed, and so you've all helped to make MLP Forums and Poniverse better

 

I am pleased to report that this migration has been completed. We are now on the hunt for any niggles and bugs, so if you spot one please let me know
