Looking for digital art software.

Gimp is the lay man's Photoshop, and a simplified version. It's also free.

There's also PaintToolSAI, which'll cost you fifty dollars but is a pretty robust tool; I use it to do my line-art.

For other things free, there Ink Scape which I actually see a lot of for people doing vector work. It's got the vector capabilities of Photoshop but none of the price!

So take your pick. There's probably more out there but I can't be assed to look.

If you're a student, you can get the entire Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) apps for $19.89 a month. And you only need to select what college or high school you go to; they won't even check to verify it.

Adobe CC includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash, and much more.

I highly recommend Photoshop and Illustrator; I love them. They are both incredibly powerful apps.

Hey @, since you're looking for information regarding art tools, your thread's been moved to the "Photo Finish's Magics" section. :)

Paint Tool SAI is a pretty simple and easy program to use, I don't think it's very expensive either. You can download a free trial version from their website too if you wanna try that out. My favorite is Manga Studio, though that takes a little more getting-used-to than SAI. :twi:
