Could we have a Reverse Equestria Girls scenario?

This was something I thought of.  What if there was a situation where a person from the Equestria Girls world(Basically Earth) somehow wound up in Equestria?  Here's how this scenario would play out.

 

A transfer student from New York is struggling to get through his first week at Canterlot High, catching the attention of Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle and their friends.  Though the Humane 7 do what they can to help him through, he acts like he's some sort of outcast, avoiding eye contact with the other students and usually keeping to himself.

 

One day, he winds up at the destroyed Wondercolt Statue where the portal is still open.  By accident, he trips and falls into the portal and winds up in Equestria.  As a result, he meets the Equestrian version of Twilight Sparkle, all her friends(Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Spike) as well as her apprentice Starlight Glimmer.  Even more so, he's been transformed into a Pony(A unicorn mainly).  Even worse: The portal back to Earth has been sealed off unexpectedly, leaving him stuck in Equestria.

 

Now he must spend his time as a Pony in Equestria all while waiting for the portal to be fixed up.  During this time, he befriends the citizens of Ponyville.  But on the other side, someone wants to go into Equestria and capture its power, forcing the young student to become its defender.

 

Your thoughts on a reverse-Equestria Girls scenario?

Think of it as a lot of fanfiction where a human winds up in Equestria and ends up experiencing adventures as a pony until they either go back home or remain because their life is better now. To make it more believable and not be cringed at by the fandom, it would need to be either one of the main cast excluding Sunset for obvious reasons, or one of the secondary cast who ends up falling through the portal and into Equestria.

I don't think human necessarily has to == pony when they cross over like that. They can also be diamond dogs apparently, so why not other things? It could mix things up a bit to have a monster show up in Equestria, the mane six showing up to fight it, only to discover it's a very confused human from across the portal.

the problem is, that's throwing crap into FIM's Pool, so to speak, and they're trying to keep the two series disjointed and independent of each other at this point.

I don't think a whole show dedicated to this would be good, but I'd love a temporary crossover in an Equestria Girls movie to happen where one or all of the Humane 7 get ponied up for a bit.

That subject is a common thing when it comes to fanfics and stuff. I mean, the whole human-to-equestria stories. Many of us would love to go there. 

 

Basically that scenario wouldn't be that bad if performed well.

Or sirens, considering the Dazzlings. Humans singing in operas would totally result in becoming a siren. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Just kidding~

But I admit, I like that scenario of a confused human trapped in a monster's body. That would go well with MLP, because once again, the magic of friendship would make them see, that looking bad from the outside doesn't mean to be bad inside. That would be just an extra villain to handle for them.

Sounds like a lot of Fanfiction that comes from the fandom, so I don't really need to see it be Canon.
