Do ships peeve you sometimes?

But because of that, there are so many! 

Do some ships in the fandom sometimes make you mad? I know it's kinda a dumb question

The ships themselves don't annoy me, but the fact that they're either made with poor basis (going as far as making shipping because two characters were at opposite end of a room), and shove them to your face and demand you to accept it (This one died a little bit for a while though , probably because Lyrabon is as close to canon as possible )

Never actually. I'd say I was a casual shipper. My favorite ships are Flutterdash and Twishy. But only in the casual sense. The whole point of shipping is that they aren't realistic. Not just based off of the characters personalities or context of the show. But because Hasbro would never allow a even vague reference to a lesbian couple.

I only don't like straight ships because I prefer lesbians. Specifically lesbians. Not enough male characters to do steamy gay ships. But steamy lesbian ships there's plenty.

I have a few that I personally hate, though that will remain a secret (not really if you see my other posts). Some really bother me for some reason, and I get jealous, but if they are with someone I like them to be with (FlutterDash), I love it. I don't understand.

Very few ships regardless of fandom are based on whether or not there are actual hints at a relationship. And more based on personal preference. The only time recently the former was true was Korrasami. But even then hints at a relationship only happens in season 4.

I prefer gay and lesbian ships. Cause heterosexual stuff seems so overused and boring to me.

I don't ship that strongly but I do have a few I tend to like,  but it depends on the set up of the story if anything.  I mean we all get pairings we tend to like or dislike in the set up of the show and fan-ships.  Flashlight was like seeing a wildfire start up and now its Twi-Glasses and Named After a Tree which seems to now "ok".     Personally I've ship  Luna/Twi or Flutter/Rar or Rar/Luna....

You like the way two ponies look together?  Think it's cute?  That's fine.  But if you're sincerely text-walling and citing "evidence" in an attempt to justify it to someone else, you've departed from anything resembling fun.  There's the other end of the shipping spectrum where people will say a stallion and mare belong together because they have similar coat colors.  I wasn't aware that's how relationships worked in Equestria.  "Hey, you're yellow; I'm yellow.  It was simply meant to be."  I don't seriously ship anypony; though I will facetiously ship practically any two cast members to amuse myself for the duration of the post.  Granny Smith X young Granny Smith, OTP.

Right now the only shippings that peeve are ones that make no sense or could never happen like with characters who have never met or only talked like once or something.

Also Big Mac and marble Pie because they're like family so kinda gross.

I generally have a 'don't ask, don't tell' policy on my ships. If I don't like a ship, I don't go looking for it, and if I accidentally still stumble across it, I walk away. And if I like some ship, I don't go shoving it onto anyone unless the conversation specifically turns to ships we support.
