baba_booey 4,290
Out of these I generally prefer Linux. I feel the customizability is easily the best of any OS and you have the most choices when it comes to distros, DEs and whatnot. Plus most Linux distros I’ve used (including Mint, my personal favorite) tend to feel less bloated and more polished than Windows, and not to mention I like the concept of open source software in general. Only problem is even with compatibility getting better I still have to use Windows for my animation software and certain games.
schizo 85
As someone whose used Windows and Mac I prefer Windows, even though I currently use a Mac. I regret not going for a Windows laptop sometimes, trying to play anything on Mac makes it overheat seemingly within the span of seconds. Not to mention everything is optimised for Windows but not Mac.

Linux is so easy to use and it's so light and polished, then if you want to go into the advanced stuff you can do that as well just wish compatibility was better
