Don't forget that even the fillies in Equestria are usually always naked and don't cover their parts. In a world where nudity is a normal thing, nobody would care if there are visible genitals.

 

 Plus, Ponies might view it differently too. They have fur and their tails to cover stuff, I don't. 

 

That is so not right. The fur of a horse is really short and don't covers the genitals. And also the tail don't covers the genitals the whole time. 

 

Now to the question: I would go nude. I only would wear something when it is cold. I also would wear shoes (or rather sandals) when I go out because I don't want to hurt my feets. But these are for me the only reasons for wearing clothes. In a clothing optional world, I don't see a problem with nudity, even as a human. I mean, Iron Will also runs nude (The necktie don't count) through Ponyville and minotaurs are not so common in Equestria. But I write this as a nudist. So it is clear that it is for me not a big thing with the nudity. But when there are people who are usually always dressed, I can understand that they feel awkward. 

 

And like others here, it would be for me also a little bit awkward to be the only human in a pony world.

I would like to remind everyone that ponies don't wear fur. They have a layer of hair. It's why we call it horse hair.

 

Anyway, I wouldn't remove my clothes. I need them for warmth. Also, the topic of fashion would allow me to speak to the fashion ponies of Equestria, particularly Miss Rarity.

that's quite true. If I had to guess though I'd say the lower part would be the equivalent of the midwest of the US if the Crystal Empire was like the top of Canada. But even not, we don't know the scale of the world here, it may stretch down quite close to the equator for all we know (unless there's a map I'm not aware of)

There is a  "Mysterious South" down there... how close to an equator is anyone's guess. My opinion is the land is about as big as the US or so... but scaling of the maps is really odd.... and i think they put the locations on it much much larger than they actually are for better visibility.

 

And just so i don't go completely off topic...

 

We know they have Winter in Ponyville, and the ponies themselves bundle up.. so yeah at least part of the year going unclothed would not be the most enjoyable experience I would imagine. Maybe if you lived down around Appleloosa, the climate would be more warm year round... much better for getting an keeping an even tan for those looking to do so.

If I became a pony, yes.  If I stayed human, probably not because I'd most likely be cold.  As other have pointed out, clothing isn't just about modesty, either.  It's about survivability as well.  Humans are so flimsy compared to most animals, including our skin.  Real horses, for example, have much thicker, tougher skin.  We have thin, squishy skin that cuts easily compared to most wild animals.  We used our brains to create protective layers.  My skin cuts a bit easier than average.  If I went naked all the time, working and everything, I'd be a bloody mess of cuts and scars.  I'd want protection.  Sunburn is also a thing.  If none of that was an issue, then I probably would go naked.  Like @Kyoshi said some pages back, it would be nice to be a part of a society that doesn't demonize the body as our does.

Actually ponies can get sunburn too, where the fur (sorry hair) is white it usually means the skin underneath is pink i.e. has no cologen. Other white furred animals can be sunburnt too, e.g.white cats.
