I would suggest looking up the world of Cowboy Bebop to get familiar with the world. The second: it's just a rip of characters from another game. But I think you'd need to join in a new Cowboy crew instead of the one we have right now (the Vega), since it's already full with five members, so your character would have to become that new crew's captain. Or not.
