Do any of the Mane 6 remind you of friends/family?

This may be an odd question to ask, but it's worth bringing up, due to how relatable MLP:FiM can be to some.
Twilight reminds me of my older sister, because of both the hairstyle and how she treats Spike.
Rarity reminds me of my mother, because of her tastes in fashion and her overuse of the word "darling".
Applejack remind me of a friend of mine (Sam), I guess due to his easily irritable but perfectly warm-hearted nature.

I know this question may be wierd to some, but it's totally within my range of interest.

Hey there, @@EmployeeAMillion

Because this thread is discussing MLP in a a more non-direct manner, I have gone ahead and moved it to Sugarcube Corner where it can recieve the appropriate attention.

Thanks!

The Mane Six do have more personality and flaws compared to my family, yet the former don't make me think of the latter in any way.

My classmate from high school is a 100% real-life Pinkie :D She even dyes her hair pink (and uses Pinkie as her facebook profile pic)!

She can be really obnoxious at times, but much like Pinkie, she never fails to make people smile <3

Applejack - my grandpa (Hardworking and always honest)
Pinkie Pie - my grandma (Cooks cupcakes and smiles everyday)
Rainbow Dash - my closest friends (Loyalty all the way)
Fluttershy - my girlfriend (Kind and love everything about nature)
Twilight - my dad (Leader)
Rarity - my mom (Sewer and a Barber)

Twilight Sparkle reminds me of my Grandfather. He worked with Martin Luther King and he was a business owner. He also had a certain pride to him like Twili.

The difference is, Twili is alive and he's dead. I think he was assasinated by the KKK. I could imagine him becoming an Alicorn XD
