She is what Twilight would of ended up if she didn't go to Ponyville. I disagree. Twilight didn't care about friendship until she learned better via the Mane Five. Moondancer always wanted friends, she just decided that since she couldn't have Twilight as her friend specifically she'd use studying as an excuse not to respond to Minuette et al's offers of friendship. I think what's bad is that they also looks the samen, I mean Twilight Starlight and Sunset...there are just identical !Just imagine a pony with the same personality as Pinkie, but physicaly opposed ! Moondancer was designed to be an opposite of Twilight Twilihgt never wanted friends and grew to love it Moondancer always wanted friends but grew to resent it. Sunset, the literal only similarity is that they were once Celestias student. Starlight, was made to be a rival to Twilight, not an identical character, and she is not. That is a very good way to sum it up, I didn't like at first that it seemed like they were trying to make that "she is what I used to be" story, and I was very pleased to see the direction they took was not only different, but also very surprising.
