Welcome to my doodle page. I really enjoy drawing ponies and recently got back into the swing of things. I would like to open this doodle page with my latest and, so far, greatest pony drawing!

I just realized tomorrow is Saturday and I most likely won't have access to the computer. Since I won't have any new art I decided to share some of my old stuff from 2013.

Introducing my character Hershey. She was originally a dragon with nothing to do with MLP, but I changed her to a pegasus when I got bored. (I'll post a picture of PD another time.)

Thanks LoneStar

Here is some more old art because I still haven't finished anything new.

My husband found an old sketchbook with the first Hershey drawing inside. Apparently I had originally given her a cutie mark. We don't have a scanner so it's unfortunately a bit of a blurry photo.

Here's some more art. I have drawings of Hershey and Apple Swirl in the works, but I seem to have caught something. My motivation is lagging and I just want to sleep. :P

My very first oc pony, Apple Swirl (no relation to the Apple family). It was Fall and I was eating a lot of apple things.

L from Death Note. I forgot to include him with the Zelda stuff.

A new "painting" as promised. I drew this one while listening to the Celtic Woman A Christmas Celebration CD. I don't like it anywhere near as much as my Luna picture, but it's only my second time with this style. I look forward to improving it.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Finances and housing trouble have kept me away. I'll have a picture of Gerudo Vai Link as a MLP up soon. I'm hoping to have a commission shop open soon as well. Due to the troubles already mentioned we're trying to scrape together $30,000 to get out of a horribly toxic situation. Please commission me when I'm open and/or spread the word if you can. It will be greatly appreciated. I realize I can't possibly draw enough to reach our goal, but this is all I can do to help and every penny counts.

Great job so far!
If i can ask, How many layers do you use when you paint?
Personally i find i like to paint the whole image on more or less the same layer :P

It depends on the drawing, but I almost always use at least 5 layers. I have the sketch, ink, flat, shade and highlights. I usually end up with over 20 layers and just as many saves. Lately, I've been merging the sketch layers together and doing the same with the ink so I don't have so much to deal with. I tried doing the one layer thing and found I didn't enjoy it and would get easily frustrated.

Now for my Gerudo Link! I was going to put more details in this one, but my arm cramped up and I decided to call it a night. As always, I shrank it down by over half so it wouldn't swamp the screen. (I draw on a 10" x10" canvas on a smaller laptop.)
