That Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight are all descendants of an ancient unicorn tribe, and that's why there are so many similarities in their appearances/names.

Pinkie Pie may be adopted. Look at how different she is to the rest of her family, and notice how she's the only one, not only to have a destiny and all that, but to be a different colour scheme other than a bland rock colour.

Those are pure theories, not fridge brilliance, fridge horror or fridge logic.

Another piece of fridge brilliance i love is Big Mac's freak out in No Second Prances after Starlight used that spell on him. It makes sense after Where The Apple Lies, since the last time he talked so incessently, it nearly cost him his leg.
