Tyra blinked and tilted her head. "What pony?" She leaned over the counter to get a look.

 

A wide grin crossed her face as she recognised the stallion, and she raced across the bar to glomp the unsuspecting blue pony.

 

"ICE BLIZZARD!" She squee'd. "It has been too long, my friend!"

 

Ice of course, didn't expect Tyra to be barreling across the bar. Even though there was literally no one else there, it was still a surprise. "Ah! Hey!" He yelped, finding himself tackled to the floor. "It's uh, great to see you too. Heh..." He sat up to hug her, "So you're here too huh?"

Tyra grinned ear-to-ear as she returned the hug to her old friend. Clearly she was happy to see Ice and Ticktock again after so long.

 

"Aye!" she nodded, and pulled out the letter, letting it hang out of her mouth as she presented it. "I received this letter saying to come here! Did you get one?"

And so as some of our heroes meet for te frst time, and others reunited, doors of this small but now not quait empty tavern opened.

And as soon as door opened wide, an low desapointed voice could be heared from the pony thet was about to enter "O dear, this is all?" , after our heroes heard thet they could see an Unicorn dressed in black robes, thet by looks of it were not quait new.

This unicorn looked around the room one more time, to be sure he did not nissed annyone. But no she did not, onli this four came. After one lest 'O dear' she proceded with quait loud voice "Anny one who is here fore the meeting of the heroes please come to closer, others please leave." And after thet she walked and sat at one table closest to her.

Tyra blinked and looked over at the cloaked pony, tilting her head.

 

"Oooh, heroes!" She beamed, waggling her braided tail. "We are heroes, are we not, friends?!" She grinned at Ice and Ticktock.

 

She grabbed a mug of cider and chugged it down, slamming it on the counter.

Copper looked over to see the pony wanting to meet the heroes, and nodded, walking over to her.  "Though I'm not one of the heroes that are here, Princess Celestia had sent me over to help out, because she trusts me with my skills in fighting and healing to help the real ones."  He smiled, taking a seat near her.

Ticktock looked at the unicorn who had just walked in and listened to what she had to say before begrudgingly getting up and beginning to move over to take a seat at the table she was sitting at however before he got to close he told Dark to hid himself away "Nice call there Ticktock I get a really ominous vibe from her... then again I get an ominous vibe from everyone." The orb then disappeared and Ticktock took his seat at the table.

"As a matter of fact I did," Ice responded to Tyra before looking over to see the unicorn. "Hold up--we better get over there," he said before making his way over to the table where the others were already seated. Patiently, he waited to be filled in on why they were brought back.

Our heroes, one by one, joined the mare at her table.

"Allright...sooo...." the mare started "..you all came here because you wanted to help....Thet is great..." mare's voice was insicure, and she often tok litle pauses. By looks of it she was probably not prepared for this 'meeting' "....So, as I said in the message, we do need litle bit of helpying hooves....We lost many fild adventurers after Scarlet atacked, so we would wish for you to join our litle ranks just for a month or two. You wont have to do anny dificult jobs.....so what do you say, are you with us?" Mare finiahed with the smaile aimed towered our heroes.

Tyra nodded to Ice, and trotted over to this new mare, sitting at the table next to her.

 

"You are building an army?" She asked, tilting her head curiously. "Well, if it is because the witch was behind it, then worry not!"

 

She stood with her front hooves on the table, putting one over her heart. "You may sign Tyra Shatterhoof on!"

 

Obviously, she was still as brash as ever.

Copper considered the thought for a moment.  He then smiled at the mare, saying, "I'm with Tyra.  I wanna help out as much as I can, and this will be a good opportunity to make sure Equestria is safe.  I'm all in."

 

He put his hoof in the air, showing he was excited to help out.

"Army?" Mare said questionably and just moments after coughed onces and repeated the same word witch much more confidents "Army! Yes...sort of.  Do not wory about this 'witch' , she is not able to do apsolutly annything....I think." After thet, she looked at the other pony thet said yes, with his own free will "Thet's the spirite."

 

After thet her eyes looked at the remaining ponys at the table, as she waited to hear will they say yes like the frst two did, or will they say no to this offer to help the world they live in.

Ticktock rolled his eyes "While this is a lovely sentimate and all i want to know some of the more in depth details, you've asked for us for a reason, something dangerous that anyone else is likely not wanting to take. I'll be in if i get details." Ticktock looked at the mare with cold and calculating eyes, almost as if he was already folumating what to say back to her when she answered.

Mare looked away from Ticktock after he asked his question, and contineu to answer to this simple question in higher pitch voice then before "Dangerous...I would not call it 'Dangerous'..." She coughed and continued "...It is just a litle and simple escort job.." final part of her sentance she said much more quaiter in hopes our heroes would not hear it "...to the other side of the continent."

Ticktock almost chocked on his own words, of all the things he was expecting her to say, he never expected it to be an escort to the other side of the continent "WHAT!?" Ticktock then took a second to regain his  demeanour "Ok, now who or what is it we are exactly escorting?" Ticktock was now looking at the mare with eyes that seemed to dig into her very soul, hoping that he could intimidate her into telling more.

Ice tapped his hoof on the table. This new job seemed much less...exciting than the last. But hey, anything was better than sitting around all day. Though, what Ticktock asked did make him raise an eyebrow. Why an escort all the sudden? "Yeah, who and why exactly?"

"You will be escorting caravan filled with food to the small mineing town on the far south." Mare said right after Blizzard finished talking, this was probably only part she prepared to talk about on this 'meeting'. Mare continued "And reason for this is bandits. We think they have a base some were around thet there, but we can spare anny agents to investigate this problem so we can just ask some one to guard the goods." Mare coughed and then continued "So.....will you assist us?"

Ticktock looked at thr mare for a few second before giving her a lack luster nod "Fine i guess i can spare the time, got nothing better to do." However to Ticktock something still seemed a little of to him, and eventhough it may have been him just being paranoid i decided to keep an eye out on the journey, there was something about this he really didn't like. "Ok miss, where exactly is this town?"

"Ah!" Mare said happyly "It is located on the edge of 'Maguuma Wastes' in the southern part of Dry top valley." she finished with a smaile "But do not wory about direction, caravan leader will know his way to the town. This wont be his frst trip there." She looked at Ticktock onces more and asked "Will thet be all you wanted to know?"

Ticktock listened to the mare, he'd heard of Maguuma Wastes before but had very been there, hwever a coule more questions had come to his mind which he wanted to know about "I do have two more, firstly who is the caravan leader? secondly, will it just be him and us, or will there be more guys accompanying us?"

Mare sighed as she belived there woupd not be more questions, and then continued in normal voice "Leader is Rytlock Brimstone, and no there will also be his mercenaries." She then looked down at the flore and closed her eyes for a moment and after opening them again she looked back at Ticktock "Around 17 of them and then four of you will make 21 ponys in total in this caravan. Woulsld thet be all?"

Ticktock gave the mare a heavy sigh, clearly anoyed "Fine, that's all i need to know." Although he was donr Ticktock looked extremely angry, plus there was this darkness in his eyes, kind of like resentment, it was clear that in the time he had been on his own, he changed into what could only be described as... a jerk. Well more of a jerk than he was before.

Copper listened intently on the questions given from Ticktock and the answers from the hooded mare.  He pursed his lips thoughtfully, and then said, "Hmm.  It does sound interesting to say the least.  Hopefully things go well for those folks in the future, and I'll be more than happy to help guide them the right way."

Tyra tilted her head curiously. She had never escorted somepony before. She heard about escorts, but that was never exactly her kind of thing. She already had a special somepony.

 

...unless this pony meant the 'help somepony somewhere without them getting hurt' kind of escort. Shaking her head at her silliness, she felt much more comfortable.

 

"Aye, who is this pony we are to escort?" She enquired as well.

 

After getting the information, she nodded with a confident smirk. "Fear not. We great champions will overcome this challenge!"

"If thet is all, we should probably move out." Mare started "I will lead you to the meeting point and then I will need to return to my duty."

 

 

And with thet this cloaked mare, lead our heroes out of this tavern, true the empty streets and out of this town of ghosts.

 

 

A day passed, and at the noon of the next day mare lead our heroes to the small houae in the midle of no were. But unlike with the town they just left, here tbere were around 15 ponys thet were in full body armor with there wepons ready. This ponys were mainly equped with wepons for close combat but mixed in were could of ponys with ranged wepons.

All this ponys were probably the mercenaris thet mare said Rytlock will bring with him.

 

Mare smailed to the could of mercenaris and then told our heroes to enter the small house because this "Rytlock" person will be waiting for them here.

 

 

As our heroes entered the small house they were greeted with an quait, but menacing "Welcome". And if our heroes would look towered the place were the voice was coming from. They would notice an changleing. He was wearing an armor, thet was black as his skin so it was hard to notice it on frst look, he had green mane and tail and on his sidethere was just an sword shaft.

He contineu to speak in same voice as before "I expected thet you will be biger. What can a small fry like you do if we get atack?"

Ticktock had apparently been carrying his drin with him the whole way, because when they entered the house and saw who the caravan leader was he down what wine was left in his glass "A changeling... well these days coudn't get any wierder." At Rytlock's comment about weakness, Ticktock grunted slightly and look at the changeling with a death stare, right before grabbing Tyra with his magic to stop what he expected to be her charging straight at the guy for calling her weak.
