A lot of people joke that 2016 was like a horror movie, but these brilliant bastards brought that idea to life. The only thing they were missing was the killer clowns and it would have been a masterpiece.

The 2016 election season and it's aftermath was one of the biggest living nightmares I've experienced that should've never been brought into reality

It wasn't the best film, but it wasn't the worst either, it had its ups and downs, but I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel.

I would have to say nothing tbh. The memes are fantastic, I support Trump, the Regressive Left's power is receding, the Alt Right isn't something I'm too worried about, and while the riots sucked, they didn't really affect me.

 

2016 was absolutely fantastic for the right. My favorite year so far.

 

 

I feel like someone should warn them that 2017 isn't going to be any better for the left.

2016 started off well for my family, but then the double tragedy hit three days after my birthday followed by five days after that one, and the rest of the year was nothing but a personal disaster. I hope 2017 doesn't end up doing something similar. I don't think we can take another beating like that.

I think the scariest thing about 2016 was the amount of braincells lost over the course of the year.

How about a lousy box office this year? What was supposed to be escapism from a lousy 2016 only added to the burden with mediocre to awful films. BvS. Suicide Squad. TMNT 2. Ghost Busters. X-Men Apocalypse.  ID4: Resurgence. Jason Bourne. Alice through the looking glass. Warcaft. The Huntsman 2. Angry Birds. Ass-Creed. Secret Life Of Pets.

 

A smorgasbord of duds that made audiences feel  buyers remorse, instead of a good time.

 

 

And while not the worst thing in context, it still hurts, But yeah, the 2016 election, where the american populace was stupid enough to consider either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton viable candidates, let alone both, hurts quite a bit. 

 

SJW uprising has been going on since 2014. Celebrities come and go each year. The riots ticked me off, especially the nearest one to me in Milwaukee, where black people got pissed off that an armed black suspect that opened fire on police was shot dead by a black police officer. #BlackHypocritesMatter. But police anti-sympathy has been going on for a few years now. It sucks, but it's not isolated to 2016.

 

Personally, 2016 wasn't the all time disaster that others think it is. Just another year to me.
