critique wanted Glacies Frost, my OC/Ponysona/RP Character

This is my full OC. I've already submitted him, and am working through the approval process. Just wanted to see if anypony had any thoughts on him?

I like the design, he looks like he would fit right in with the show, it also compliments his overall cool demeanor (at least to strangers). Your description was mindbogglingly detailed and well thought out. I would love to see your character travel to the crystal empire or even join the royal guard, but honestly what you have is more than enough.

In time, I hope to travel all over. As far as joining the Royal Guard... I wonder if ponies are allowed to learn new spells in that part of the RP area. If so, I could see him learning a few defensive spells. Ah well, questions for later. I do love character growth. I'm glad you like the design and descriptions. Was there anything that stood out to you?

I think what stood out to me the most was the introverted tendencies you built into him, which act both as strengths and weaknesses. I think that he fact that your character "shuts down" when he is pushed to the limit of his patience is a less common anger response and would certainly make for interesting situations, especially during roleplaying.

 

Also, I was reminded a little of Gray from Fairy Tail in your OC design, especially with the specialty in ice magic and a somewhat "brooding" personality. :-P

Well, I have a thing for ice, and am a huge fan of both Lyon and Gray from Fairy Tail, so I'll take that as a compliment.

Yeah, you have a point there. I'm a very avid fan of ice users across anime... with the exception of one The Freezing Alchemist from FMA Brotherhood. He was lame.
