Was Starlight's village affected by Tirek?

Tirek stole the magic of countless ponies. Do you think any of the ponies from Starlight's old village was victimized by him? Yes, if they were, they were already affected by Starlight's equalizing spell, but they were still capable of using magic, flight, etc.

Hard to say. I assume yes as it seems he had gotten all of the magic in Equestria other than the princesses at first, so that makes me think he literally got all of them. He seemed pretty persistent in his pursuit of madness.

I'm going to say no. It's unknown how much magic Tirek was able to steal, but it's likely he didn't get all of it, just the vast majority of it since he was able to stand up to a souped-up Twilight.  In the beginning he was still weak even after some time after escaping Tartarus, so once he was able to start draining magic again, he resorted to draining ponies one at a time from dark allies to stay inconspicuous.

After Discord joined him though, he threw subtlety out the window and started attacking large settlements, starting with unicorns and then earth ponies. He didn't even need to target Cloudsdale or any major Pegasus cities after an entire flock of Pegasi basically threw themselves at him. Once he was good and ready, he would have made a direct beeline for Canterlot, then Ponyville once he learned of Twilight's existence. Thus, it's likely he would have ignored small, out of the way towns like Starlight's village.

Starlight' s village seems pretty far removed. She didn't even know about the Wonderbolts. So it's unlikely she was affected by Tirek.

It kind of depends on "How large is Equestria?"  Back in the day, it used to take 100 Unicorns to raise the sun or the moon & they were exhausted. (ICR where I heard that)  Celestia was able to do both for 1000 years.  So, she has the power of, say, 500-1000 of the strongest Unicorns (Remember, Chrysalis was able to match her in Canterlot Wedding.  It can't be too much more) Tirek had Discord's power & an unknown number of ponies yet Twilight was able to match him with the power of 4 Alicorns.

IMO, despite Tirek's claim he can't have gotten more than a few thousand -the numbers just don't add up. Even if you assume Celestia is BY FAR the weakest alicorn (not the strongest, as most assume (It would explain a few things)), Tirek couldn't have gotten more than oh, 40-50,000 or so.

So, it depends on EQ's size. IMO the population is in the millions (at least) & Tirek got less than 1%. So, the odds are Starlight's village was missed

Since the village was way out there hidden away from any apart from those who lived there or those who could find it, I doubt that Lord Tirek stole their magic leaving them free of his fury. If he had been made of their presence, he probably would have paid them a visit and drained every last one of their magic because he wanted more power than he needed.

Very odd that the village was specifically not aforementioned of Tirek, either before or after especially if Starlight were to felt any surges or draining of high level magic. That proves that somehow Starlight's slice of "Utopia" is in fact not equally "discovered" in the like of other regions in Equestria, due to not location but perhaps due to a magical deadzone. Off the grid so-to-say and Starlight did in fact didn't want nopony to figure out her secret plan and location so Tirek wouldn't find out about her too.
