general Make-up

I go through phases where I will wear none at all and then will wear it again. Do you guys wear make-up? If so, what types? :) I normally just wear foundation, powder to set the foundation (my skin is pretty oily so I need it), eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick or lipgloss :) I do like eyeliner but I'm crap at applying it lol so don't wear it often.

Also, I'm going to start buying products not tested on animals. I really wish Mac wouldn't test on animals :(

I usually don't wear any except if I wanna dress up for no reason which is rare. It's too much hassle to wear everyday and the only face stuff I can use is expensive since I have fair sensitive skin that loves to break out with everything but the expensive stuff.

I really like odd coloured makeup, I even have a green-blue lipstick with matching nail polish.  I only have lipstick and eyeliner, I really want to step up my makeup game.  I want to be one of those guys with the really cool looking goth makeup.  Unfortunately, I don't have the courage to wear any makeup outside so I tend not to wear it as much as I'd like to, I feel as though my fear of looking stupid is holding me back.

I wear make-up to trick people into thinking that I'm actually good looking XD (Plus my eyelashes are nearly transparent, so I look really weird without any make-up. Like. Really, really weird.)

I like to use enough to highlight some features, subdue others and present a balanced look without overdoing it. I don't slather anything on with a paint roller. I use mascara, eyeshadow, light blush, and lipstick. I sometimes paint my nails with creams and light natural enamels; no bright colors. :proud:

I wear light makeup normally: powder foundation, mascara, and a bit of eyeshadow (usually a soft color). For special occasions, I'll wear slightly more prominent makeup and a bit of eyeliner, but I'm not one to cake on layers of makeup. I like to keep a quick-ish prep time. :rarity:

I used to 100% despise makeup but I wouldn't mind wearing a little bit nowadays...not too much though. I'm still forever a tomboy at heart. :D

I wear makeup when I go to work, see friends, or going to an event such as a birthday celebration or holiday gathering. I wear foundation/powder and black eyeshadow. I sometimes wear dark purple on my eyes but I’ve been using black a lot recently.

I look like a damn drag queen with it on, likely due to my own lack of ability, but like... it demotivates me from trying more so I kinda just don't bother and whine about being naturally ugly

I love makeup. I have blue eyes, so according to color theory brown would be the best eye shadow on me, but I prefer teals or purples. Sometimes blues, but bright, vibrant colors are my favorite. I have many different palettes, because they're pretty, and I like them, and you're not my mom. I have pink toned skin, so I can get away with wear blue/pink/purple highlighters. My skin usually looks pretty good, so I tend to not wear much foundation aside from a few dots of concealer to brighten. A bit of blush, some nude eyeliner on bottom lashes, mascara. I don't spend a lot of time on it, I just have a lot, because it's pretty.

It's something I've wanted to experiment with a lot more. But I haven't really had the chance to do so for various reasons.

What I have experimented with though was pretty much used to hide the dark under my eyes. Also a little extra to make my eyes look a little larger. When it comes to anything like lipstick, I've pretty much reached the decision of avoiding anything dark and keeping it light. Darker lipstick colour just doesn't work with the shape of my lips. Yet lighter colours seem to look okay. It sure is fun experimenting though. I just wish I had the money, time and space to do so. :P

The truth is though, I really really wish I had a female friend in rl that could teach me a thing or two. Nothing too mad. Just techniques that keep me presentable for everyday living.

I've wanted to experiment with it a little bit myself. Of course I do mean a little bit. If I can just keep these hairs off of my face for long enough and get into a position where I can afford it...

No, I don’t wear makeup.

It’s kind of annoying that women are expected to wear makeup in order to look good (professionally) and men are accepted just as they are.

I did try it out as a kid once. I borrowed my moms stuff, dressed up, showed off to my family for fun. It was an experience for sure. I don't feel like I need any make-up, as a guy with no interest to be visible.

Uh, I'm a guy, and makeup is banned by Army regulations for guys, so. No. :v

But I do feel like I can comment on women wearing makeup, so... I will.

I don't think makeup is absolutely necessary in all situations like some people make it out to be. I feel like some of the most attractive people I know wear little to no makeup. But when they do, it's a really nice gesture, because it shows they care about impressing whoever they're around, and they want to look their best.

It's like wearing a tie with a collared shirt, or folding a handkerchief in your suit pocket. It's not necessary, but it's a nice touch when done right, and it makes you seem all the more classier. :p

However, doing that all the time might seem like you're obsessed with your appearance and what other people think about you, which is a bad thing... so...

Anyway. Comment over.

Still I think soldiers are quite pretty when they are fully dressed up, so technically they don't need makeup. >_>
