There is the Ducktales reboot coming this year that shows potential though I wish they had brought back some of the remaining original voice cast for nostalgia purposes.

I am really looking forward to season 2 of Voltron Legendary Defender and the newest batch of Steven Universe episodes that are coming up soon.

Even more than season 7 of FIM.

Besides that I am curious to see how the Big Hero Six cartoon on Disney XD will be like, wanting to see the rest of the 4th and 2nd seasons of TMNT and Star Vs the Forces of evil, and I am eagerly waiting for the next installment of Digimon Adventure Tri.

I'm hyped for Smurfs: The Lost Village. The show was my favourite cartoon as a kid, and while I honestly thought the live-action films were fun for what they were, there's no denying that they were not good Smurfs movies. I'm hoping they get it right for this new one, and the trailers have me feeling optimistic.

I dont know if it counts, since i guess it already started in 2016, but im hyped for Justice League Action, the new Dc Tv Series.

Also im hyped for the third Season of Young Justice, which is now going to be made.

Animated Movies im hyped for is that one planned The Secrets of Nimh reboot, if its even gonna happen.

Otherwise, im still hyped for Filly Funtasia, but im afraid it got cancelled because it takes so freaking long to come out.

I'm looking forward to Smurfs: The Lost Village. Since it looks closer to the original comics and cartoon and isn't a blatant cash-in like the live action movies.

Also excited for Tangled: The Series and the Ducktales reboot.

I'm hyped for the new episodes of Steven Universe and the upcoming season 8 of Adventure Time. Other than that and MLP, I don't have anything to be excited about.

There's plenty I'm looking forward to this year. The first thing was the Regular Show finale, which aired yesterday. Other stuff on Cartoon Network I'm looking forward to is Adventure Time season 8 and the Islands miniseries, and new episodes of Steven Universe, The Powerpuff Girls (yes, I actually like the reboot), Gumball, We Bare Bears, Clarence, and Mighty Magiswords. I'll also probably watch season 5 of Samurai Jack on Adult Swim. They just started airing reruns of the older episodes last weekend, so I decided to try it again after not being able to get into it before and now I'm more interested. Cartoon Network doesn't really have any new shows coming this year other than the Ben 10 reboot, but I was never into the original, so I have no interest.

On Nick, I'm looking forward to new episodes of SpongeBob and The Loud House, as well as the remaining episodes of Harvey Beaks (hopefully, it doesn't get moved to Nicktoons). There's 3 new Nicktoons slated to premiere this year. One is Bunsen is a Beast, which I don't have much hope for because it's created by Butch Hartman and I don't like his newer stuff. Another is Pinky Malinky, which started out as a Cartoon Network pilot (for those confused as to how this works, if a network doesn't do anything with a pilot after a certain amount of time, the rights go back to the creator) that I didn't like, but I'm hoping the series will be better. The third is Welcome to the Wayne, which I actually am interested in. It started out as a digital series on nick.com that I actually liked, so I'm interested in seeing more. Then there's Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie, which premieres around Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see that.

On Disney, I'm looking forward to new episodes of Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Milo Murphy's Law. As for new shows, there's Tangled: The Series. I actually haven't seen the movie (yes, I'm late on that, I'm going to try to before the show premieres), but I like what I've seen of it so far. There's also the DuckTales reboot. I've only seen a handful of episodes of the original, but it's shaping out to be good so far. There's the Big Hero 6 TV series. I liked the movie and the showrunners are Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle, who are known for creating Kim Possible (though I also liked their work on The Penguins of Madagascar TV series), so I'm looking forward to that. The only other show they have coming this year is Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer. I don't really have any feelings about it one way or the other, but I'll give it a shot.

Then there's also Hanazuki. I liked the first batch of episodes, so I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Well knowing Ultimate spider-man series is finished, it kinda sucked since there is no parts in the past last three season giving his old team-mates some screen time.

Other then than that...

  • Star wars rebels
  • Turbo FAST
  • Young justice( if they do come)
  • Big hero 6 series

Yes. So much yes. Inf act, 100x better than its live action films combined with CGI, which did a terrible job. Smurfs: The Lost Village shows promise and potential.

Ronja, the Robber's Daughter from Studio Ghibli is coming out in the U.S. It's directed by Goro Mayazaki, son of Hayao Mayazaki and it looks spectacular, with 26 episodes on the way!

I'm also looking forward to Tangled: The Series, and more from Miraculous Ladybug (which has a big screen live action version coming in 2019) and Star Wars Rebels.

As for features, I can't wait to see Gigantic, from Disney.

On the feature side, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the two films I'm most looking forward to are Cars 3 and LEGO Batman. The former actually looks to be continuing the original storyline and challenging its characters, rather than divert to blockbuster tropes like its predecessor. As for the latter; it's amazing that the original LEGO Movie built a brand of self-aware humor and a loving playfulness with tropes, and throwing the powerhouse Batman franchise into the mix will give them a treasure trove of subject matter. From the trailers, it definitely looks like they're capitalizing. I'm also optimistic about Sony this year with both Smurfs: The Lost Village and The Star. The latter of those two is an especially interesting concept since we haven't had an animated Christmas film set at the Nativity since at least the Rankin-Bass days.

On the TV side, I can't say as much since I'm not a big fan of the shows that are really popular now, but one show that is showing definite signs of improvement season-over-season is Star vs. the Forces of Evil. I look forward to seeing some of that show while I mainly catch up on older shows this year.
