Could work with 3D

Yes, 3D sucks on a lot of films, but this one could really utilize it well. With the amount of action and interesting environments sure to be in the film, 3D could really submerge (no pun intended; get it?) you into the world of Equestria.

Sure, if Hasbro wants to waste money from terrible 3D sales.

 

The era of Cinema trying to push for 3D is over, and unless it's a huge blockbuster(and I'm talking about something like Star Wars or Avengers), studios aren't gonna shoehorn 3D because chances are they'll just because be flushing money down the toilet because the audience just isn't interested in 3D, to them it's just a gimmick

 

Also, just because it's MLP doesn't mean it'll automatically be good

It's possible they'll might use 3D for elaborate environment, and a effect or two, but I don't think it'll be the main artistic look it aims

I am pretty confidant that the MLP FIM doesn't need to have 3D gimmicks given to it.

Especially seeing how only a few movies are worth seeing in 3D nowadays.

I enjoy 3D films (especially if they're fully animated), so I'll be happy if the MLP movie is released in that format.

I'm pretty sure he means 3D as in the effect. Like, with the glasses and stuff.
