The 51st Super Bowl will be decided in two weeks. Who will win the conference championship games and enter the field of battle in Houston?

I'd REALLY love to see the Atlanta Falcons win the Super Bowl. They've been once, but they lost it. I've said before that I would love to see all 32 teams win the Super Bowl at least once.

In addition to that, I think this would be great for Atlanta in general. The only championship that the city has is the Braves 1995 World Series title. It could use a Super Bowl as well. Then that would leave the Atlanta Hawks and their only NBA Championship was when they were in St. Louis back in 1958.

Falcons win.

Let's see who wins this game...

ugh....I don't want it to be the Patriots.....not a good first half for Pittsburgh. You can't kick your way to victory against the Pats.

Field goals might work against the Chiefs. But not against the Patriots. With two back to back touchdowns this game is now out of reach for the Steelers.

Atlanta will be facing the mightiest NFL dynasty ever in the Super Bowl in two weeks. What are their chances?

Only good thing about it tonight is that we get to face them again next year because we both finished first in the division. Also the Falcons and Patriots face each other again next year because of scheduling.

Hope the Falcons wear their red jerseys and not follow the Broncos path in wearing white as the home team.

I absolutely can't stand New England and will root for pretty much any NFC team over them. That said, I expect New England to win this one. Green Bay would have stood more of a chance. Their style of play was very similar to NE; Rodgers is probably the only QB playing on the same level as Brady and they like to bend the rules and exploit loopholes as much as Belichick does. Ryan to Jones is a good combo but New England has more weapons.

(I wish you had put some kind of poll in the original post like I did with those other threads about the postseason, PiratePony)

As much doubts as I have about this, I hope the Falcons win it. Unlike the Panthers last year, they deserve to have their first title right about now.

I'm not really a football fan but my family is rabid about it, especially for the Patriots. I know enough about the Pats to recognize a good and deserving team, and I would just love to see Goodell put that trophy in their hands.  :orly:

Panthers had a shot last year but didn't they lose to the Broncos?

Yeah, that would be one of the best things ever.

Fortunately yes, the Broncos beat the Panthers last year.

It's more desirable for a quarterback like Peyton Manning to win Super Bowl 50, his last career game, than the Panthers to have their first super bowl victory interfere with that.
