i have a question is is possible for our fandom to reach a higher peak

I think because of the shock settling down it won't happen again. Like, the first time you hear about a topic thats so unusual its the most impactful, if you are reminded of it 5 years later its like 'oh, right, that'. Unless theres a demographic that never heard of it before, like new time parents going to watch the movie with their kids or something, and end up liking it. But alot of guys and even ladies might think its too childish and stuff, so I think it got big because of internet culture, and its old news to the internet.

I think yes it is definitely possible! Especially if they keep the show going and keep making movies and promoting it. there are lots of doom and gloom ponies, but if the quality remains high, it could happen! It would be not a huge explosion but slow and steady growth though

You can't reach a higher peak, if the highest peak has already been reached, which was back in 2012 when the fandom was incredibly hot. We have reached a point, where this fandom is pretty much like most other fandoms on the internet and where we are probably staying as long as the series goes on.

Most people back then joined the fandom because it was different and against the norm. But because most people and media already covered us and don't give us any attention anymore, the specialness is gone now.

I dont think it's possible since people already know about our existence so if something like that happens then they'll just be reminded not impacted. But hey! everything is possible so we'll see how that goes ^.^

I agree with those who have said that the fandom has already reached its peak. If anything, I'd say that it has reached a point where those who have stuck around for so long will continue to be dedicated to it though they may choose to move on if they feel they no longer see the show in the same way that they did back when they first joined. For new people, what they end up doing will depend on their attitude towards it.

Probably not unless they do something to really catch peoples attention. MLP now is just another good cartoon among many on television. Once upon a time it was as huge as it was because for so many it was almost taboo or controversial to watch it... but now that strangeness has faded and it has just becomes another show people either like or hate.

I think it will remain popular for a while yet, but not like it was when it was the "new" thing that so many talked about everywhere.

Tbe thing is, if i told you a positive response, that wouldn't be honest of me. I am also in this fandom since 2011 and while the first year was great, i accepted that it passed and it's a fact of life that every good thing has come to an end.

At the same time though, you shouldn't think that nobody is in this fandom anymore. There will always be someone out there, that appreciates pony content. Keep doing what you're doing, not just for the sake of others, but also because you love it. :)

I don't think it'll reach the mass media level it did at one point, where people were paying the fandom undue amounts of attention. However, it is possible it will reach a second, lower peak and plateau at a level where the newcomers are coming in as fast as older fans are retiring. I'm looking forward to being a part of this fandom until the show's inevitable cancellation or series finale and I plan to remain a fan long after the fact, just as I am of Avatar the Last Airbender, Gargoyles, and a slew of other shows.

While I don't think it's impossible that the fandom coud surpass it's peak back in 2012, I think it's easier to finish a Dark Soul without dying than for that to happen . For that to happen, something incredibly nuts and insane hast to happen for people to turn around and put it on the radar. FiM came to the radar  mainly because of the newfound brony fandom that were exposed to the world, but that new weird thing's moment passed, and it's now pretty normal. I also doubt the movie will make a difference that big, as I don't remember many animated feature films being the talk of the day for long

I think that the only way for it to reach a new peak would be if the show took a drastic turn. And I mean drastic, as in took a much darker turn into something more like TV-Y or something even more.

It would need to capitalize on its fantasy/dark themes and feature more adventurous themes and villains, while ditching its slice of life style for the most part. Slice of life is, in itself, more boring and less interesting to the outside observer's eye. While the show does have adventurous episodes, most of the episodes tend to be slice of life. And to regular people, that would look less inviting and more "stereotypical girly-show." (Even though it is not.)

I've been experienced the fandom since basically its inception, back in the veery early Season 1 episodes. I just never officially "joined" the fandom until mid-to-late Season 1.

The Movie:

I think that the movie has the potential to revive the fandom to a new growth spurt, but the movie would have to 1), be advertised and promoted heavily, and 2) the trailers would need to make the movie look "epic" and serious, and not your typical child's movie. Basically, it would need to make adults curious and think to themselves "wow, this doesn't look like the MLP I grew up seeing O.O".

Why would you want the fandom to go back to the 2012-2014 levels of popularity? I remember seeing nothing but hate for bronies across the internet back then because it was popular and annoyed those who didn't want to see ponies everywhere. Look for the positives, the less popularity the less drama.
