So what is your favorite fictional company, military unit or government/countries? You don't have to think of one of each if you don't have one for each but For me it would be:

cyberdyne systems, the company that made the terminator

Fox or MSF from metal gear solid

derka derka stand from team america

Umbrella...because these are their business plans always include virus outbreaks, release of infectious creatures, purposely infecting their research staff and underground labs built beneath mansions, police stations, temple ruins and playgrounds yet STILL manage to make an annual profit.

Wario Ware, because they have made some of the most interesting--also bizarre--games imaginable and their employees are a mixture of eccentric, cute, weird, and completely out there. Of course, one can't forget Wario himself, the mastermind of the company though his greedy mannerisms can cause problems.

Not even a bunch of godlike Eldritch Abominations can keep him from his moneh.

His friends do all the work and he takes all the credit--and money.

My favourite fictional organizations include:

  • Government:
the Galactic Republic and Palpatine's Empire of Star Wars (style, architecture, and deep history - especially the Legends version),
and Emperor Karl Franz's Empire of Warhammer Fantasy (majesty, gryphons).
  • Military unit:
the Space Marines (anger at heresy) and Imperial Guards of Warhammer 40000 (for being normal and relatable),
    the soldiers of Starship Troopers,
the fanatical Daleks and Cybermen of Doctor Who,
and the Clone Troopers of Star Wars.
  • Corporation:
the horrific, yet fascinating, companies of Cloud Atlas' futuristic Neo-Seoul,
and the fictionalized depiction of "Hasbro" (and his tyrannical relationship with his creations) in the "Equestria Girls Parody Series" (which is fan-made).

These seem like inspirations for some ideas involving stories about fictional governments and corporations, and their actions and consequences.

Future Industries from the Legend of Korra is all kinds of awesome

I mean it is basically the world of Avatar's version of Stark Industries after all.

My thoughts exactly!!! As much of a slime ball as Hiroshi Sato was in the first season, his business empire was awesome. I suppose he was the Henry Ford of his universe too, with the success of the Satomobile.

Governments: Galactic Republic (Star Wars), Interstellar Alliance (Babylon 5), United Federation of Planets (Star Trek), Solar Empire and League of Free Terrans (Perry Rhodan), Twelve Colonies of Kobol (Battlestar Galactica)

Corporations: Scrooge McDuck's company (Disney duck universe), Future Industries (The Legend of Korra)

Military Units: Royal Manticoran Navy (Honorverse), Starfleet (Star Trek)

Sarif Industries from Deus Ex Human Revolution, probably because the player works for the company and David Sarif is an ambitious, psychopathic boss with god tier voice acting. Also Humanity Front for having another god tier voice actor acting for the character who leads the organization. It's a shame that the sequel replaced David Sarif for a mediocre voice actor, but it was understandably because the original voice actor was a rude douche in the team. I so wish he could have just been someone everyone else could work with better

  • 4 weeks later...

There is a lot to chose from.
And to be honest, World building is what really draws me to most shows. MLP included.

Really Eqestria would be pretty high up on the list.. but.

The white Lotus from the Avatar Serious most likely beats it out to be honest.
