Everleaf 538 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) Not so long ago I have watched though the series of Spice and Wolf and I for sure recommend it! as I am fairly new to the anime fandom so I can't really recommend many more, but what I will say, it deserves a watch! Panne 1,342 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) as I am fairly new to the anime fandom anime isn't the fandom. The fandoms are the shows. Like a fan of Naruto might absolutely abhor a show like Hellsing. Anime is like a mass of fandoms based on genres and the shows found with in each one. The mass term is Otaku, then you just are a fan of the shows you have watched. Panne 1,342 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) Vocaloid. Vocaloid is a music making computer program... as a person who has liked vocaloid for over 5 years this statement just is tiring at this point. Edited January 5, 2015 by Panne
Panne 1,342 Share January 5, 2015 Sorry I'm stupid. *facepalm* It's fine, I got into Vocaloid when someone corrected me about it. Really though vocaloid isn't an anime but people kind of lump it with Otakus.
HaroldGenhi 82 Share April 28, 2015 (edited) Revised Top Anime Series List:1) Steins;Gate2) Attack on Titan3) Fate/Zero4) The Irregular at Magic High School5) The Legend of Legendary Heroes6) Cowboy Bebop7) Kill la Kill8) Trigun9) Death Note10) Tokyo Ghoul Honorable Mentions:Monster(even though I haven't seen all of it), Gurren Lagann, and Corpse Party What I haven't watched in all of its entirety to form a good opinion on and include on the list:Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Fate/Stay, Hellsing, Eureka Seven, Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion. Not factored into the list:Avatar the Last Air Bender, Legend of Korra, and DBZ My list never stays the same, but I'd be hard-pressed to find an anime that could beat Steins;Gate for me. Trine 665 Share April 29, 2015 (edited) Naruto is pretty cool. Although i think Shippuden is horrible, even Naruto fillers is something i wanna watch. Its mostly due too the buildups and some form of realism. Like you wouldn't be ok if someone slammed you 100 km per hour into a wall. I can remember some of the fight, and you had to plan attacks in order to hit one and not get hit back. So it was much more trustworthy. Which is why i think it was so good. It was actually one of the reason i wanted to learn Japanese, because the show was so cool and they spoke cool. I so need to rewatch and study again. 日本語が本当に面白いです。 勉強を楽しいです。 Edited April 29, 2015 by Trine
Panne 1,342 Share April 29, 2015 More people need to watch Parasyte! It's like Tokyo Ghoul. The original manga came out in the 80s but the anime just recently was made.

cuteycindyhoney 11,652 Share May 3, 2015 I've been really getting into the 1980's version of "Astro Boy". It's funny, but can be quite touching in parts. In one episode, Astro was very sad. He was alone in his room just sitting at his desk. He quietly said "I wonder how humans cry." and I could have given him a lesson right on the spot. Astro Boy also featured the single most depressing Christmas episode I ever saw in an anime! OMG! I love the show though, and I love Astro's little sister Uran. She's such a little brat, but she loves Astro and is very proud of her hero big brother. Here is Astro's family. Dr. Elephun (guess who that is in the picture!) was kind enough to build Astro a mom, dad, and little sister.
 Badges
PokeBolter 208 Share June 9, 2015 (edited) The only animes I've really ever watched are Pokemon, Kirby Right Back at ya. and recently Jewelpets tinkle. Pokemon: It was the anime that got me introduced to the concept and now I still watch it just for the fun of it. Sometimes I even enjoying seeing my own Pokemon in the episodes. Kirby Right Back at ya.: This was an anime that my friend and I really enjoyed when we were kids and it was still airing and even last year as part of a Tbt I watched a lot of episodes leading me to get Kirby's Triple Deluxe. Jewelpets Tinkle: Jewelpets is actually a really good anime or at least from what I've seen so far. The characters are really cute, the plot lines can be really action packed and soon I'm hoping this will lead me to my own Jewelpets Peridot. Jokuc 8,148 Share June 18, 2015 Ooooh! There is an anime thread c: I just finished watching the first season of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! earlier today Oh man I loved it. It's gotta be one of the cutest animes I've ever watched. I don't really watch anything but slice of life anime. lies . I'll probably post in here again to tell you guys what I've watched and stuff but right now I have a little question for those of you who have seen this anime: I know there's a second season, a side story season, an extra episode (ep 13) as well as a movie, but I really have no clue if they're worth watching I have read that a lot of people don't like S2 as a romance anime but more like a comedy and that one should watch the movie before season 2. What are your opinions and recommendations? edit: nvm I found the order online
 Badges
Magnum Flare 553 Share June 18, 2015 Here I am promoting a new Anime, Shokugeki No Soma. Well, it's foodporn, with boobs and sht. It's funny and Tsundere girl, Nakiri Erina is cute as fck. Currently, they're 11(12?) episodes in and new episode is coming on Friday, while comic is 121 chapters in. Currently, on the anime, the students are on a camp where the judges are alumni. Failure to satisfy the judges and the students is expelled on the spot (Well, a chef school with 10% grad rate is no joke). Just look at this MC. So awesome.
ToastedScone 287 Share January 30, 2020 Finally, an opportunity to weeb out I've watched a lot of anime, but my favourites would have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion, Fate/Zero and El-Melloi Case Files! Case Files in particular is ABSOLUTELY STELLAR and if you enjoyed any part of the Fate series, I think you'll enjoy it a lot!!
 Badges
