Surprising no one, its rarity, twilight and pinkie pie leading the pack for first movie toys out.
Also not surprising, they're toys of them transformed into Seaponies, like the russian conference leaked. but at least its confirmed official here.

It's all part of the business of selling toys. You release toys related to an upcoming product that in turn will produce hype towards said project because you know children will want to go and see it.

From the looks of those images, the movie based ones are not yet released, but rather being advertised in advance. I am actually excited to see what collectibles result from the film.

Scootaloo is going to have important enough role in the movie for toys? Well maybe they are just doing toys out if the usual cast even though they are barely in the film.

 

The toys don't look the best but I think it's a good think that they start marketing toys early to create awareness for the film. I think it was poor decision not to have any teaser in from of Moana (but maybe nothing was ready them) since I don't know in front of what movie they are going to have a teaser. The rest of the animated films coming out this year don't seem that popular for the target demographic young girls and neither does the Lionsgate's Power Rangers.

I don't like Fash'ems. They're an ugly little toyline. I can't stand merponies either. Pity they didn't make sea ponies to go along with the merponies that Hasbro is hell bent on shoving on its consumers every other gen. I would have bought sea ponies.

I don't like the neck joint on whats-her-face. It looks awkward.

 

The pegasus is super cute! I'd want one if she wasn't in that awful reboot mould. I might get her anyway. She's charming enough to disguise the mould.

 

Man those eyes are creeepy!It's a shame because she's so detailed and beautiful and I adore her colors. Maybe I can hack the legs off?

I love the mane, symbol and colors on the pegasus. She reminds me of a Norwegian Fjord Horse.

WHY DO I FEEL AN URGE TO BUY THESE

 

Pretty cool. Storm King actually looks imposing and badass, especially with that destroyed Canterlot in the background.

 

Grubber or whatever still looks weird and now I'm 100% sure he'll be the annoying and stupid henchhog.

 

The wingless griffon pirate captain looks cool and cute at the same time. The magic peg leg is interesting. Wonder what it will look like in the movie?

I have to give them credit... that Storm King Figure looks amazing. So does Tempest and even Capper is not that bad looking. They have that whole GOH look going on about them from the latest line. I really hope they will continue this trend of putting out figures in this style. It really gives all sorts of collectors something to go after.

 

As for the robot... finally the toy every Twilight fan has been dreaming of... the one that talks back to you. Not sure I would get something like this, but it is definitely a hint of what the future has in store for us.

  Either, once again, the company they hired to make the toys is too stupid to actually know what characters their basing these things off of are, and thereby these toys have no bearing or sanity hinging on the actual movie... OR...

 

 Tempest Shadow somehow regenerates her horn during a climatic point of the movie to become a bigger threat.

 

 

 Ugh, well, judging by her armored flank's insignia, we got confirmation now that she's in league with Storm King.

First off, the toys bear on everything because they're the reason they're the reason the show is still around.

 

Secondly Hasbro, y'know the company that owns everything MLP are the people who made these.

 

And lastly if you look very closely on the horn you'll see that it's still broken, but it's just a little bit taller than the preview picture. But rest assured, the horn isn't complete.
