How will Starlight Glimmer be introduced in Equestria Girls

With word that Starlight Glimmer could appear in Equestria Girls(Plus she now has an EQG Mini figure), the big question is: What Starlight will be in the upcoming specials?

a) Equestria Girls Starlight: Perhaps similar to how her Pony counterpart first appeared: As a villain perhaps, or her appearance could be alot different. An adaptional hero status, or maybe a poor unfortunate soul?

B) MLP-era Starlight: Perhaps like her Jed...I mean Princess Mentor Twilight Sparkle, Starlight steps through the portal and meets the Equestria girls counterparts of the Mane 6 alongside Sunset Shimmer.

How do you think Starlight will be in Equestria girls? And which version will it be?

Just because she has a mini figure, doesn't mean that Starlight will appear in the EQG movies/specials.

For instance, Zecora has her own doll but wasn't even in Legend of Everfree, despite her Equestrian counterpart living in the Everfree Forest.

So for all we know, Starlight could just not appear at all.

Plus with Sunset Shimmer in the franchise, Starlight is not needed at all whatsoever.

Well know that we know that she is probably going to appear in one of the specials, I am hoping that it will be the human world version of Starlight rather than FIM Starlight.

The show itself rather dropped the ball by giving her a terrible backstory and unbelievably weak motivations for becoming evil, as well as unjustified OP magical abilities.

But human world Starlight would be a clean slate, and wouldn't be restricted by the flaws in pony Starlight's character arc.

In fact I would be hoping for her human version to be the better version.

The only thing wrong with Starlight Glimmers character is that, she was compelled to become "evil".... because her friend was talented... The way I see that though also, is maybe that heartbreak REALLY DID cause her to believe she was doing the right thing ridding cutie marks... yes she lied to them, and took away what made them special and tried to condense those ponies and water down their characters.... She got caught up with her obsessive and controlling side of her personality, which is honestly to me, Starlight is more of the zero negative Twilight than Sunset(i love Sunset Shimmer dont get me wrong).... Starlights character is great... people hate because Sunset couldnt come back to Equestria... and they feel that villains shouldnt all be reformed... and they wont be.... but people just seem to forget the theme of the show is literally about friendship, making friends, bettering yourself, and becoming a better person. You just got to see why she developed the philosophy she did. I think she could be the "new girl" in EG might exhibit traits of jealousy and competitiveness rather than being outright evil... Even in the finale of S5 you see when she goes back in time, one of her alternative methods to changing the future is getting the bullies to leave fluttershy alone... she has an alternative personality because she is lonely, and hurt more or less, not menacing and sociopathic... she is bitter a and vengeful that is what makes her a villain, but when you see some of these villains expose themselves, they really got a reason for the feeling, with the exception of Sombra, Tirek, and Chrysalis(to some extent she was doing what she knew to do to care for her people, still evil though...) and Discord, the thing is, he has the power to destroy equestria, he is just a d*@! and likes to have things his way, disharmony is his harmony because its also the nature of his character, his growth in friendship is genuine, but his perspective is just indifferent, you see he cares for his friends by the way he pursues fluttershy, but he also is willing to banish somepony to another dimension to be closer to her... its just the nature of some characters isnt the same, this doesnt necessarily always determine their moral dynamics

If they ever going to do that it will probably be Princess Twilight Taking Starlight with her in the Human world. That's what I see because seeing a Human Starlight Glimmer doesn't make any sense for the Equestria Girls spin off series.

I don't mind Starlight, problem with her is that her backstory being the reason for her villainy felt pretty weak. Still, I'm betting Starlight in EG, assuming is the human counterpart and not the pony going through the mirror, is Sunny's roommate

While there is no confirmation that Starlight will actually appear in a future Equestria Girls program (movie/special/other), it would be nice to actually have her part of it since she has changed the dynamic of the show much like how Sunset did the same thing regarding EQG through their respective reformations. I would prefer it if Starlight was the human version of her who has no knowledge of magic and was a secondary character who wanted to find out more about Sunset for reasons not yet currently known.

Starlight needs and probably will serve as a way to connect those just getting into the series. Similar to her MLP counterpart, she needs to help acclimate the new viewers in while reminding the old fans why they love the show :)

The villain part..might be a bad idea as we've already seen that in the EqG world with sunset shimmer. After all, Sunset Shimmer was a prototype for Starlight (much to my dismay)

Nothing about her motivation, backstory, or anything is weak about Starlight. The problem here is the fans who are mostly clueless.

Everything about Starlight is actually very brilliant to anyone who actually takes the time to think about it.

It fits perfectly the messenge the episode was trying to present how even the smallet things can lead to a string of things more devastating in the future. Problem is that most fans are idiots.

Let me give you a comparison. It's like asking Twilight (Starlight) how she became a princess (why she started her village) and her responding that it was because Fluttershy was bullied (her friend left her).

Them becoming heroes is due to a small, seemingly insignificant thing in the past which led to a serise of events that led to that outcome. Exactly the same as Starlight.

And it fits Zecora's explanation to why the timelines are different. And Twilight's explaining how a small event in the past leaves devastating results in the future.

Like I said, Starlight's story is brilliant. It's the fans that are idiots.
