What's your top store(s) to go to?

TBD

Recommended Posts

I don't if this been asked yet but..eh.

So same question as the title, are there any stores you mainly go to at the mall? (Unless you're being force like me) :smug:

I don't go to mall much, but if I do go, I'd only shop at Hot Topic and be done with it.

What ever I want I can find online... I have to wait a couple of day for it, but I at least know for sure I'm getting what I was looking for...

I actually can't think of any store I like anymore... Maybe the pet store, or the Lego store just to look around... maybe see what they have at Hot Topic.

A local Retro gaming store, the local comic/toy shop, and a large bookstore that sells music and films as well. They have a pretty decent selection of Anime and games as well, so I can often find pretty interesting stuff whenever I go..

The only reason I ever bother to go to the mall is for the bookstore so I don't really go that often.  I never really liked the mall atmosphere, something about it deters me from going.  Besides that I only go to the grocery stores.

I like toys, so I go for the toy stores first. I like Toys R Us but they're not really mall stores, so maybe Kaybee. I also love Disney Store if there's one around, Build-A-Bear and on rare occasions Hot Topic or Spencers (even though I always feel like I should shower after leaving Spencers). I like to shop for clothes, but I often customize retro clothes or shop online for a lot of that, so there's not much use for the mall there.

Used to go to the bookstore, then they got rid of it

Used to go to the dedicated anime store, then they got rid of it

Used to go to the retro games store, then they got rid of it

Used to go to the video store, then they got rid of it

Used to go to the electronics store, then they got rid of it

The worst part? They all got replaced with some bullshit trendy hipster clothes store, as if they need any more of that

Only place I'd go to is Gamestop...and I've been trying to cut my trips there for a while now...

Either Walmart, Dollar General, JayC (An Indiana grocery store chain) or rarely, Gamestop. Haven't been going to Gamestop much lately. Been increasingly having negative experiences there. Really sucks too because I want a wonderful gaming dedicated store. Just not one that either rips me off or has elitist employees.

Musical instrument stores! Although they don't have them in malls where I live. In malls I like to go clothes shopping. Or I did back before trying on anything made me want to jump out a window.

The store I go to the most is Wal-Mart. Yeah, yeah, it's Satan's Give and Some and they have a reputation of treating their employees like shit, but I can find almost everything I need there.

I haven't been to a mall in two years, and the last time was just to buy shoes. I need to do that again sometime.

The top stores I go to are: Walmart, Best Buy, BJ's Wholesale Club and GameStop. When it comes to the mall, the top stores I go to are: Hot Topic, American Eagle, GameStop and Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Not much of a shopper, but if the mall has a Mastermind, Toys R Us, Spencer's, San Diego/San Francisco, or other such nerdy shops, I'll visit them.....But being that I've not traveled to the city, I don't really get to go to them.

I almost never go to stores other than grocery stores to shop. I mostly just browse out of boredom when I have no one to hang out with or anything to do. I like window shopping but perhaps that makes me part of the problem. ^_^

Best Buy - My main electronics store with many locations near by but have a few I go to for childhood memories. I dont really like buying electronics from other stores. At least not before Circuit City went out of business.

Costco - I have no membership but also have no need for 10 cans of coffee, 40 rolls of toilet paper, 2000 vitamins or 60 pack of Fruit by the Foot...but its still an interesting place to go. My mom worked there for 15 years and when you do you're family gets a lifetime membership. I just remember going there with my family and spending my weekends eating the samples and looking at all the departments. I dont think I ever bought more than 2 items ever there with my own money nor think I ever really got more than 8 items when I was a kid. Its mostly the chance to wander that I think makes me think of it.

Hot Topic - If i had more money id buy many more themed shirts there as I have before but its pretty dang expensive to shop there

Wal-Mart - A pretty easy choice for cheap(ly made) items and you want a quick grocery selection. The problems i've ALWAYS had with them that I dont seem to have many other places is the checkout lines. Every time I go I get maybe...7 items. 15 at max. And I get to the checkout line and things seem to be going smoothly but then EVERY TIME the guy ahead of me has to make a transaction more annoying than it has to be. The guy ahead is either paying with like 3 different forms of credit and cash or has a coupon thats expired and wants to talk to a manager or his card isnt reading and has to try like 5 others or finds out he doesnt have enough money for all his items and then has to decide what he wants with everyone behind him. Even in the "express" lanes its still the same. In fact i've found its often worse.

(HM) Fedco - A now defunct department store chain in Southern California that went out of business in '99. Bring it up at all because it was my favorite store to go to since it was practically a mall in and of itself. It was a 3 story store that had a food court and entire supermarket on the 1st floor. 2nd floor was clothing, video games, toys, tools, lawn care and exercise equipment. 3rd floor was mainly TV's, electronics and furniture. What I remember most about the store was it had two huge elevators in the center of the store that opens from both sides going to all the floors. My parents would go there occasionally and knew to always ask me if I wanted to go since they knew it was my favorite store. I could spend all day there not even buying anything. But that went out of business by the time I got in high school. Its just a memory but something I wanted to add.

I like looking in bestbuy, and the one bookstore my town has, it’s the store that’s open the latest at our mall.  I liked looking in Hot Topic back when MLP was trending, but now that it isn’t Hot Topic no longer is of interest to me.   Bargain stores are fun to browse through as well.

Academy sports is also fun to browse through.  I go there to get some fishing supplies whenever I get a random itch to go fishing.

But mostly when I wanna do real shopping, I do it online.
