If we are talking absolute favorites, my top favorite anime is Attack on Titan and my top favorite cartoon is the almighty Spongebob. I say a quote from an episode in seasons 1-3 at least once a day. XD

 

There are plenty of other cartoons I like and some other anime, but besides FiM, those are the only ones I like enough to rewatch again and again.

My favorite anime series are Girls und Panzer, High School Fleet, Hell Girl, Death Note, Slayers, the first season of Blue Exorcist and School-Live.  

 

My favorite cartoon series are The Amazing World of Gumball, Uncle Grandpa, Star vs the Forces of Evil, Teen Titans GO and Avatar (both the Last Aibender and the Legend of Korra).

Pretty much all older Dc Cartoons and Anime.

 

My favorites would be The last 2 Seasons of Super Friends, The New Adventures of Batman and the Superman Anime from 1988.

The rest was okay, but most of the older Seasons of Super friends were boring and Scooby Doo meets Batman was just horrible.

EDIT : Havent watched anything fron the Animated Universe yet, just everything before it.

 

Other favorite Cartoons include Ren and Stimpy, Rockos modern life, Redwall...probably more, but i dont remember right now.

Other favorite Anime include Gunslinger Girl, Soul Eater, Case Closed, One Piece, Black Butler, Hellsing Ultimate, .hack//sign and Deadman Wonderland.

As far as anime is concerned, I don't watch much of it anymore due to seeing it as not being what it was once, but I do have some favourites in mind, namely Pokémon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Cartoons on the other hand... there are way too many for me to list but what I will say is that my favourite characters can all be found under 1980s cartoons--with several 1990s cartoons thrown in for good measure.

I haven't watched much anime at all. The only anime I've watched much of is Pokémon.

 

As far as cartoons (OTHER than FiM) are concerned:

• SpongeBob Squarepants (Movie and before... The series became a shadow of its former self)
• The Ren and Stimpy Show (Haven't seen any of it in years though...)
• Adventure Time (well, when the humor is properly executed, instead of crude jokes that aren't funny...)
• Regular Show (There are some points where it is pretty meh, but better than a lot of cartoons recently...)
• Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (Though in retrospect, nostalgia may be clouding my judgment on the humor...)
• Courage the Cowardly Dog (Nostalgic Cartoon Gold... Just absolute greatness.)
• The Simpsons (The best of it to be honest was probably somewhere around the late 90's)
• Rugrats (Who DIDN'T like Rugrats...? People that never watched it? All Grown Up, though... that wasn't good.)
• Invader Zim (Gir was so adorable :3. Animation style was... interesting to say the least.)
• Star VS the Forces of Evil (Only watched four episodes. Absolutely love it so far!  )
