This is my latest piece: a jazz piano song with some chillhop thrown in. I was channeling spike's post-valentines depression with donuts, extra sprinkles.

Ok. 

 

It's a great song. I love those 7ths and diminished chords you had running on the piano. It sounds like you had a Debussy vibe there, which was nice, since Debussy was one of the super early pioneers of the contemporary era of music and one of the earliest composers to introduce the feel and tone of jazz with those irregular 7ths, 9ths and other higher level chords. 

 

On Spike's quote, I really love that filter work you ran it through for the transition from the jazzy feel to the chill-hop. And what I love more is how you implemented those transitions, switching the image on your cover. 

 

Were those analog strings or natural strings you were using? They sound like analog strings, but not polystrings. 

 

All in all, amazing piece! We've gotta collab sometime.

Actually, the name of the instrument I used was "10 Violas Legato" from Studio One
