Bought a new tablet finished a request with it this is the outcome

I know this was to post my first new tablet drawing, but I have decided to make this my digital art dump so I will post some of my digital artworks if I feel like it.

 

Hello so I recently purchased a new tablet and started digitally coloring some overdo requests that I had to finish still have more to color, but this is the first picture that I completed with my new tablet I'll add more if you want to see more just let me know in the comments if you want me to post more of my digital art pictures now this picture was a request by Dawn Auroua its her oc I don't own the oc I just own the picture now the cutie mark was kind of tough to draw out and it took a lot of layers, but I like how it came out and the cat well I just sketched it out now this picture is posted on my request shop, but thought I would post here as well it came out a lot nicer then I thought it would.

In my opinion of this oc the detail is pretty good that and with the cutie mark was perfect the oc looks advance that and the color looks more surprising

Looking good looking good! Just a tiny bit dark, but good! A few highlights would enhance it greatly but I really like this one.

Thank you very much for your kind words as for the color this was the color pallet for the oc and I don't normally shade I just use the colors that are giving to me so no highlights or shading are usually added I know I should start shading/highlighting and I may someday, but for now I just make it whatever color their oc is lol, but I do appreciate your feedback on my picture and will keep it in mind so thank you for both your kinds words and feedback.

No problem! And even though I do believe that shading is one trademark of a good artist it is just one of my personal preferences for art. So you don't need to listen to me on that regard necessarily. But I look forward to seeing more of your work!

I'm not really to good with shading I'll probably have my older cousin princessofcompassion teach me some tricks with shading and will probably attempt to add it onto requests I currently have to finish I have seen your artwork around its pretty good and I welcome feedback on my drawings it helps me improve where I lack I never thought I would digitally color my cousin was the one that got me into it and I have gotten better since, but I think some shading/highlighting will make the requests better so thank you once again for the feedback and kind words.

As an artist its always good to listen to others opinions and get feedback sure the artist does not have to listen to it, but it can help improve even if just a little, but the beauty of art is many styles.

 

My cousin princessofcompassion draws as well she has been trying different ways of shading to see which one is best if you have some time you should check her out she has a DA account as well.
